I’ve been building a lot of random encounters lately, and one thing that keeps slowing me down is figuring out which monsters actually fit the terrain my party is traveling through. When I’m rolling up encounters for forest, swamp, desert, arctic, or underwater areas, I end up bouncing between stat blocks just to check where each creature lives. It would be super helpful if the Compendium search had a simple terrain filter . Something like a dropdown for Forest, Swamp, Desert, Arctic, Urban, Underwater, etc. That way, when I’m prepping a random encounter table, I can instantly pull up monsters that make sense for the environment instead of manually checking each one. It feels like a small addition, but it would make random encounter prep so much faster and smoother. Curious if other GMs would find this useful too — it seems like a nice quality‑of‑life improvement for anyone running wilderness travel or biome‑based adventures.
