Hey everyone, we are looking for 2 more players for my upcoming D&D 5e One-Shot. It will be on July 30th, 11:00 am EST. I am a part of a group of folks that run and play one-shots and the occasional campaign. You are from the City of Splendor more commonly known as Waterdeep. Whether your connection here is familial, you emigrated here from another place or some personal reason, this is your home. About a fortnight ago the city fell under darkness, you managed to escape but everyone you know and care about is still within the city limits. You are an accomplished adventurer, a wizard by the name of Elminster has recruited you and your team to find a powerful relic to aid in freeing the city. He has given you a letter with a magical and mundane seal to be opened when you are far away from prying eyes. He gives you a vague hint of direction and then disappears... Your character must be from Waterdeep or have a strong connection to the city for this one-shot. Dark One's Delight is a Level 16 One-Shot. The game will have a mix of roleplaying and combat. Hostiles will be tough. There will be 2 Short Rests for this adventure depending on choice. Your choices may increase the difficultly of the one-shot. This being a high level one-shot, I expect players to be familiar with their classes, spells and abilities. I use Dark Vision and without it your character will effectively be blind without a source of light. Character Creation Info: 5e (2014) D&D with exceptions.
