A way to share compendium as a player

Score + 14
It would be great if players could share their purchased classes and compendium too, I know there's a workaround with making a player create the game and then making the intended gm co-gm, but I wish there was a way for me to share my classes with my fellow players just like how I would let them borrow my physical book if we were playing around a table.
+1, back when we played on physical tabletops, it wasn't uncommon to have different people own different books.  And someone just starting out as a DM would lean on others who had invested in books over time.
I've always thought it was strange that on other sites (and I won't name them because I'd probably run afoul of the "rules" if I did, but you know which ones they are) people can share their "purchased books" at will with whomever they want but here, on Roll20, they can't. It's silly of the publishers to think that by restricting this, they are limiting sales. They aren't. If someone can't afford to buy the books, they're not going to go out and buy them because someone they are playing with can't share theirs. And, like others said, if we were playing around a physical table, we could share whatever books we want with whomever we want and it was done that way long before computers came into the picture. I remember when I first played D&D back in 1977, I didn't own any of the books but others did and I just borrowed them as needed as we were sitting around the table. The same was true when we played any other game. When I could afford it, I bought my own copies. I don't see why it should be different now. And I don't see why it can be done on other sites but not here.
