Hey folks, as the title says, I need your help a bit. I have a wonderful setting with worldbuilding that has been stuck in my head for weeks now. I have a ton of ideas and plans, but the major problem I’m running into is that I just can’t seem to find a system that actually works for it. Admittedly, that may just be a problem of perfectionism on my end, but here is the general outline of the setting, and I’d like you to help point me toward systems you think would work. Right now, I think the best fit would be RIFTS. The Allsphere is everything—every possible universe, every possible reality—divided by the Grand Split, that line in the grand structure which cleaves Real universes from Unreal ones. Sitting at the center of the Allsphere is the Patchwork City, a vast realm‑city ever expanding and growing, a center of trade and commerce between existences where all Striders eventually end up, either to call it home or simply to offload before the next grand journey. The Patchwork City is home to a thousand groups and guilds that anyone may join. From the Pale Lodge— a guild of hunters equally beloved, reviled, and worshipped, who accept contracts from everyone and everything, from the pettiest of thugs to the grandest multi‑planar True Deity— to the Archive Inbetween, a group whose only goal seems to be the collection of knowledge from this insane, wonderful multiverse we call the Grand Structure.
Also if your into this sort of thing and want to play feel free to throw your hat in the ring here but i warn you that even with a system that fits its gonna be quite a bit of me just going "you know what fuck it sure"
