Dungeon Crawler Carl Campaign! From official sources: 18+

Hello everyone! I’m looking for a bunch of players interested in joining a once-a-month Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG campaign! I’m planning to run four separate groups of five players, all taking on the same enormous, deadly dungeon. There will be a Discord for organizing games, keeping track of characters, sharing information, and watching the inevitable chaos unfold. For anyone unfamiliar with Dungeon Crawler Carl, imagine a massive fantasy dungeon mixed with a deadly reality TV show. The world as you know it is gone, and the survivors have been thrown into an enormous, multi-floor dungeon run by an AI with far too much personality and absolutely no concern for your continued existence. Your job is simple: survive, descend, get stronger, and put on a good show. The dungeon is filled with monsters, traps, loot boxes, achievements, bizarre NPCs, strange quests, sponsors, audience ratings, increasingly ridiculous equipment, and skills ranging from incredibly useful to "why does the game even have this?" And, of course, there is the AI. It is watching. It has opinions. Sometimes it even likes you. That is probably worse. The campaign will begin on Floor 1, with everyone starting relatively fresh. Character creation is going to work a little differently from a traditional RPG because some of the biggest character-defining choices don't happen until Floor 3. Your crawler will develop through actually surviving the dungeon rather than arriving with their entire build already planned. As the campaign progresses, characters will gain new skills, spells, equipment, achievements, classes, races, and increasingly strange abilities. Builds can start snowballing quickly, especially once different abilities begin interacting with each other. Because of that, I’m also developing a separate companion program for the campaign. Players who want to use it will be able to keep track of their characters, abilities, equipment, bonuses, and all the other nonsense the dungeon inevitably throws at them without needing seventeen pieces of paper and an advanced degree in accounting. Expect big fights, ridiculous loot, dangerous decisions, character montages, weird spells, questionable NPCs, an audience hungry for entertainment, and an AI that may actively develop a personal interest in ruining your day. The campaign is intended to capture the spirit of Dungeon Crawler Carl rather than simply being a normal fantasy campaign wearing its skin. Things are going to get weird. If surviving an alien-controlled death dungeon while becoming progressively more powerful, famous, traumatized, and ridiculous sounds like your kind of game, let me know. Twenty crawlers enter. How many make it past Floor 1?
Hi there! still recruiting players?
