ROLL20Con for 2026 - WTF?

Why is there no news, no mention, and no posts about ROLL20Con for 2026? I only heard about it through a friend. I see no games scheduled, no mention in announcements, and nothign in the forums except people asking when it is. My friend gave me this link:  ROLL20Con for 2026 That link only mentions it and doesn't tell you how to find a game, who is running one, or whether there are any games to play. WTF Roll20?

I agree.  This was brought up in the Pro/Elite forum ( permalink ) a few days ago which mirrors your concerns.  I'll copy my comment here in the hopes it may generate further discussion. vÍnce said: I've always felt that Roll20 has sooooooo undersold their own virtual con.  It's a great opportunity to showcase Roll20's many features, encourages GM's and players to explore new(to them) game systems they might not experience otherwise, and it helps cultivate a community of VTT gamers for the years to come. Some considerations/suggestions for RollCon; Promote the con months in advance within your own platform and wherever people can currently see updates about Roll20.  Also consider advertising on other RPG related platforms.  Any place TTRPG gamer's might frequent online. Temporarily give pro access to GM's that sign-up to run a con game. (perhaps 2-4 weeks pre-con) Give away something from the marketplace to all participants. (require validation by the GM post-game) Give everyone a "participation" badge. Give away some merch at random. Does Roll20 even have merch anymore?  I still have my Roll20 Shirt from 10+ years ago. Roll20 might consider running a live-stream game themselves. Or maybe hire some "popular" online gamers to do it.  It doesn't have to be a "Critical Role" production. People can be encouraged to try something new when they see other's doing it. Roll20 could give a live-stream of how to use their VTT and/or demonstrate the new features introduced in the last year, and/or talk about the future.  Sell your platform and it's capabilities.

Yeah, I was the one who posted on the Pro forum. So far, I haven't heard anything from Roll20.
Hey Mike, I see that you posted a game for Roll20Con 2026 and labeled it as such. Good job!
Wow, over 125 views and no other comments, questions, or a response from Roll20. I would say that nobody cares.
I would probably care if I understood what the heck it even was. For instance, I have a session scheduled game during it, so do I just mark it as so even though I am not looking for players?…

They, Roll20, used to publish the guidelines for scheduling a game during Roll20Con, but now all they do is advertise it and nothign else. Years ago it was a pretty big deal.
I seem to recall they once had a Roll20con checkbox that you could check for a Roll20con game.
