I used to be able to hold Alt down while dropping stuff on the map in order to have the aforementioned stuff retain its aspect ratio. Now, every time I drop something on a map, it resizes it to fit a square. It's pretty annoying! Is this some expected fallout from the new maps stuff that I missed?
