The Inner Sphere is breathing a rare sigh of relief, which means it’s the absolute perfect time for a startup mercenary outfit to make a name for itself, or go completely bankrupt trying. I'm currently looking for 3 more players to round out our lance and get this company off the ground. Here is everything you need to know about the campaign: Campaign Details System: MechWarrior 2nd Edition (for the RPG/out-of-mech stuff) and Classic BattleTech (for the tactical mech combat). Schedule: Every other Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM EST. Platform: Roll20 for the tabletop/character sheets, and Discord for voice chat and between-session chatter/memes. Era: A few years prior to the Clan Invasion. You'll be dealing with Inner Sphere politics, pirate hunting, and corporate espionage, and much much more Experience Level: Absolutely no prior experience needed! If you are new to the BattleTech universe or the tabletop rules, we are more than happy to teach you the ropes. The Vibe And Playstyle This campaign isn't going to be a pure, dry tactical wargame, nor is it a complete goof-fest. We're aiming for a sweet spot. You can expect a solid mix of grounded military sim, interpersonal character drama, plenty of dynamic NPC interactions, tactical combat, and plenty of standard tabletop humor. You won't just be shooting lasers! I aim to make you completely immersed in this world that I'm very passionate about. Requirements A decent microphone for Discord voice. A collaborative mindset, I want players who are ready to engage with the world and each other both inside and outside of sessions. Reliability for the bi-weekly schedule. How to Apply If this sounds like your kind of drop, send me a DM or reply below with a little bit about yourself, your TTRPG background (again, totally fine if you're brand new), and what kind of character you might want to play. Also let me know one Light and one Medium Mech of your choice from the 3045 Era. You'll be starting with one of these. Thanks!
