We’re looking for a competent, consistent, and creative player to join a long-running 4e campaign led by a veteran GM with over four decades of experience. One seat just opened up, and we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. **About the Game:** D&D 4e, but not as you remember it. This campaign is heavily modded, with extensive quality-of-life tools, macros, visuals, and automation. The world is rich, reactive, and filled with narrative weight, and occasionally, weird magical nonsense and dark humor. The current party is Level 12, and the campaign includes a mix of tactical combat, character-driven narrative, and exploration. **What I’m Looking For:** * Someone who understands 4e's tactical depth, but doesn't treat character creation as a mathematical optimization exercise. * A player who creates a **character first and a build second**. I want characters with personalities, motivations, flaws, and reasons to actually be in the world. * Someone who enjoys contributing to both combat and story. Roleplay matters here, even for the gruff sword-swingers. * A team player who is respectful, punctual, and interested in becoming part of a long-term group. * Bonus points if you enjoy weird NPCs, solving strange problems, unexpected situations, or RP'ing with tactical precision. **The Vibe:** Laid-back but focused. Fun and dramatic without edge-lording. The party is clever, the GM is mildly obsessed with the game's presentation, and the kobolds probably have a union. **One Important Note:** This is a heavily customized 4e campaign, and mechanical competence is absolutely welcome. What I'm **not** looking for is someone whose primary interest is finding the strongest possible combination of powers, feats, items, and numbers. **Interested?** Shoot me a private message with: * A quick intro: name/handle, age, timezone * Your experience with D&D, especially 4e * What kinds of characters or playstyles you enjoy * What you’re looking for in a group
