The last couple of weeks, a lot of my NPC tokens have been tinted dark. It is identical to the effect described in this post from 8 years ago: Token image very dark after upload I checked the game settings, tint on tokens is set to transparent. But when I check affected tokens, they do have a white tint set to them. Far from all NPC sheets have been affected, but it's exclusively affecting NPC sheets. For now, I'm just manually resetting tint whenever I come across affected tokens, but some bug must have gotten them tinted to begin with.
