Considering COPPA Compliance

I was thinking now might be a good time to work on going COPPA compliant for roll20 and all of the Orr Group. As the internet age moves on child safety continues to be a topic that is salient. I was hoping that the Orr group would consider following suit with Wizards of the Coast in Becoming COPPA compliant giving parents and guardians more confidence in a safer place to game. We are at around 50 years for the hobby and we know we can go through youth. Leaving DDB cornering parental control leaves out other wonderful games.  It's a big expense and a lot of changes. But it might be worth it financially and is ethically, probably a necessity.  COPPA is imperfect and difficult. But it is the tool that exists. I wish it were different. Anyway, this will fall on deaf ears and its detractors sound off loudly. That does not change my thinking in this.

With all do respect, COPPA exists because TOS are woefully ineffective in addressing the issue. But I get it's a huge expense.&nbsp;
