Star Trek Adventurers 2 Sheet Beta

Hello there, I’m looking for a few people interested in helping me test a custom Star Trek Adventures Second Edition character sheet I’ve been building for Roll20. I’m especially looking for people who know the game better than I do—which honestly shouldn’t be difficult, given my limited play time. I need people who can try out the sheet, point out rules I’ve misunderstood, catch interactions I haven’t considered, and give me a useful list of things that should be changed or improved. This is very much a beta build. I’m sure there are bugs, missing features, and probably a few things I’ve gotten completely wrong. I already have a test game set up with several player characters, NPCs, and ships. You’re welcome to use those or make your own character once you’re in the game. Right now, the sheet includes: The normal STA 2e attributes, departments, focuses, values, traits, talents, equipment, and character details Player characters, supporting characters, and several types of NPCs Task rolls with difficulty, focuses, critical successes, complications, bonus dice, assistance, reactive rolls, and Momentum results Saved tasks and weapon attacks that can be loaded into the roll console Stress, Determination, Protection, injuries, conditions, and recovery Separate handling for Stun and Deadly attacks Personal logs, milestones, awards, notes, and character development Collapsible sections to keep larger character sheets manageable Character portraits, rank pips, division colors, different combadges, several uniform-era themes, and light, gray, and dark page styles There is also a full ship section with: Systems, departments, Shields, Scale, Resistance, Reserve Power, and Crew Support Ship task and assistance rolls Weapons and attacks Breach and damage tracking Crew rosters Ship portraits and a shield display that changes as Shields are lost I’ve also made a shared-resource Mod script. It allows characters assigned to the same group to share Momentum, Threat, custom resources, and the same ship record. Changes to the ship’s Shields, breaches, systems, weapons, and other information should update across every linked crew sheet. The shared system appears to work, but it has not had enough real multi-player testing yet. I’d like feedback on the rules, combat, ship combat, shared resources, layout, readability, and anything that feels awkward during play. I’m also interested in features experienced players consider necessary that I may have missed. I have more development ideas, but I’m putting them on hold until the current version has been properly tested. If you’re interested, let me know how familiar you are with STA 2e and what part of the sheet you would most like to test. Either leave me a post or message here on Roll20 or contact me on Discrod at mrsmithinator
I would be interested in trying your sheet!  I am very new to GMing STA, but my group would be interested.  Right now we're just using the advanced dice roller in roll20 and figuring out success/fails/complications according to how they roll.  I have briefly tried the 1st edition sheet, but since 2nd edition eliminated challenge dice, it seems a bit challenging to have to deal with the older version.
Well that is fantastic! And you as a GM could maybe help me.  I could message you a game invite on Discord or here if you'd like. Let me know when you're in and I'll promote you to GM so you can see the whole field.
Hi there! What an amazing project! Since the original STA 1E sheet has most stats I'm still working with that one but a new sheet for second edition would be such a tremendous leap forward. I have been a GM for Star Trek Adventures for some years now and I'm on the team translating STA 2E to german. And I feel like I'm kind of specialized in character development... I would very much appreciate an invite. Thank you already for all your work!
Sial'alachua, I'm likely about to start a game of 2e for Models4Heroes beneficiaries and a helpful character sheet to make their lives easier would be amazing. :)
