...Wouldn't it be amazing if everything in your campaign was connected, reacting together as one living ecosystem?... . ..Oh, I can build my own API script. Let me see what I can do with this...   ...Wait... I can interact with almost everything, Interesting... ...Thanks for all this freedom, Roll20. I can actually build the campaign experience I've always imagined... So... let me share it with you. Trinkets & Trackers Trinkets & Trackers    is a modular campaign layer for Roll20 designed to reduce bookkeeping and character sheet management by making the game world react to the players and allowing the players to interact directly with that world. Instead of handling inventories, tokens, shops, NPCs, items, time, and map interactions as separate tasks, T&T connects them into a shared campaign ecosystem where actions can affect the character sheet, the tabletop, and the world around it. A player can find an item in the world, pick it up, place it in their inventory, give it to another character, use it, sell it, drop it again, or use it to interact with something on the map. A shop can sell more than items. It can craft equipment, enchant weapons, rent services, provide rooms, manage accounts, teach courses, or move characters between locations. Tokens can carry their own configuration, macros, alternate shapes and companions, while interacting with doors, movement, vision and other elements of the tabletop. NPCs, loot, shops, inventories and combat can all participate in the same campaign ecosystem. And all of this can happen while supporting both Legacy and Beacon character sheets . The idea behind T&T The goal of Trinkets & Trackers is not to automate the game away from the DM or the players . It is to automate the bookkeeping that gets in the way of interacting with it. Players should be able to interact with the world instead of asking the DM to manually update it every time something happens. If a player buys an item, the sheet should know. If they give it to another character, their sheets should know. If they drop it on the ground, the map should know. If a key opens a door, the door should know. If a workshop needs four hours to finish an order, the campaign clock should know. And if the party returns tomorrow... The world should remember what happened yesterday. A Modular Campaign System T&T is divided into independent but interconnected modules. Each one focuses on a different part of the campaign, while sharing the same world, characters, items, and game state. Inventory: Sheet-to-sheet item transfers between Legacy ↔ Beacon , Item Uses & Actions, a portable Item Database, and a Custom Compendium. Shops & Services: Buy, sell, craft, rent, study, and interact with businesses. Link a 2024 Shop Sheet directly to the system, including item selling support. T&T shops can represent much more than merchants. Workshops, Enchanters, Rental Brokers, Inns, Banks, Academies, Teleporters, and other services can become interactive parts of the campaign. Link a 2024 Shop Sheet. (T&T System add "Buy items from Player" capability) Token Management: Players and NPCs Token Setup, Shapes, Macros, Companions, and Path Following. Setup any shape that you want, with image and size. ( Goliaths can grow, Changelings can assume another appearance. and Druids can transform). World Interaction: Items are no longer just entries in an inventory. They can interact with tokens, creatures, doors, time, and the world itself. Drop items directly onto the map and allow players to pick them up. Give players keys that interact with actual doors. Use items to summon creatures. Transform characters into alternate shapes. Manage campaign time, weather, and daylight automation. Combat Assistant: Combine this script with the Script, Combat Assistant to have a better experience. it provides animated combat, player action automation, damage effects, resources, movement tracking, and other combat-focused systems. Both projects can be used independently, but they are designed to complement each other. You don't need to use every T&T module. Use Inventory without Shops. Use Token Management without Loot. Use Combat Assistant independently. Or connect them together to build a much more interactive campaign. Built for Both the DM and the Players T&T provides interactive chat-based menus for both the DM and the players. Players get access to the tools they need without requiring access to the administrative side of the system, while the GM remains the authority over campaign configuration and management. Take Your Campaign With You T&T maintains a portable database inside campaign Handouts containing custom items, configurations, setups, shops, and other T&T data . Move that database to another campaign and you can bring your custom content with you instead of rebuilding everything from scratch. Menus and Narrative language support. All of this is just an overview of what T&T can do, the script will be available soon. Each Module will be explain in details in other post otherwise this will be Huge. If you want to support the project or request custom features for your campaign, you can do so through Patreon AmadeusVF Module Guides 1. Inventory System
is this only for the 5.5 sheet?

Suggestions for a tnt default commands: - if current player is a DM, could you have the "!tnt" command be equivalent of "!tntDM menu" ? - if current player is not a DM, could you have the "!tnt" command display a mini-help card (example "please select a controlled token") ?   reason: if current player is not a DM, his DM should have setuped the player's controlled tokens, then the token has a token macro menu - the "!tntPlayer" should be defaulted to "!tntPlayer menu" (as for the "!tntDM")
Hi, I just have seen the explanations in your Patreon pages :) Serge said: Hi Could you explain the difference between the handouts: - Portable database - Item Blueprints Thanks

Serge said: Hi Could you explain the difference between the handouts: - Portable database - Item Blueprints Thanks Portable Database:  Is the visible information for the items in the chat-inventory and the Details render. and the information for each custom Item you create or add. Item Blueprints:  Is the information to add items from the free items in the compendium, as the API has no access to it, Item blueprints has that information. (this is for the default items like weapons, armors and magical items) Serge said: Suggestions for a tnt default commands: - if current player is a DM, could you have the "!tnt" command be equivalent of "!tntDM menu" ? How? I mean if you set a player as DM it can use !tntDM menu. - if current player is not a DM, could you have the "!tnt" command display a mini-help card (example "please select a controlled token") ?   reason: if current player is not a DM, his DM should have setuped the player's controlled tokens, then the token has a token macro menu I guess I can set a "?" in the T&T Presentation card the same CA has for both, players and DMs. - the "!tntPlayer" should be defaulted to "!tntPlayer menu" (as for the "!tntDM") This makes sense. In  Patreon  I'll be publishing the version 2.3.4 in a few days.

Heyas,  I am getting an error that T&T is not available as I am in the default sandbox and needs to be in the experimental, but I've got my mods set to the latest 1.5. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!

Some day I will upload the latest version to 1 click, but for now do as Serge mentioned Serge said: Hi Erik, Roll20 changed the name of the "Experimental sandbox" but Amadeus updated the 1.3.5 version here:&nbsp; raw.githubusercontent.com/AmadeusVF/Trinkets-and-Trackers/refs/heads/main/Release 1.3.5/Trinkets%26Ttrackers_v1.3.5.js see his post here: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/12833791/" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/12833791/</a> you can connect to his patreon site too, here: <a href="https://www.patreon.com/cw/AmadeusVF" rel="nofollow">https://www.patreon.com/cw/AmadeusVF</a>

For Those who are being using the Release 2.3.3. First Ever Use When you Install the script for the first time, you will see this message. This means you don't have any database or blueprints in your handouts, so it creates 2 default handouts with no items or blueprint to start from 0, you can then click on each button " Database " and " Blueprint " in the first message and it will open a new tab with information where my database and blueprints are stored. copy that information and replace the 2 handouts with the new information. Then when you Open a character Inventory with !tntInventory, your items will have image and details. Update From V1.3.5 If you used T&amp;T V1.3.5 and has shops and items you don't want to lose, do not worry, Version 2.3.3 has a migrator integrated in the code , you will have this message. This means, T&amp;T successfully could convert your Items and Shops from 1.3.5 into the new format of version 2.3.3 . If you have any issues migrating your handouts, feel free to send me a direct message, and I'll help you with the transition. For new Users Check out the available module guides to learn how to use the script... Well... there's only one so far: &nbsp; Inventory System . More guides will come someday, whenever I find some free time... or someone pays me to write them xD More features will be included in v2.3.4 , but it's taking longer than expected because I've been spending most of my free time working on Combat Assistant . So, I'll get back to T&amp;T this week... I hope.
Hi, I would like to add a macro in a token recipe but I don't know how to "escape" special characters Example: adding a "Combat Assistant Saving Throw" recipe !combatAssistant save ?{Attribute|STR,strength|DEX,dexterity|CON,constitution|INT,intelligence|WIS,wisdom|CHA,charisma} cannot be entered I guess I could enter it directly in the portable database handout but...

use * between the @ % ? and the keys {..}, example ?*{Attribute|STR,strength|DEX,dexterity|CON,constitution|INT,intelligence|WIS,wisdom|CHA,charisma} T&amp;T removes the * and saves the macro as intended.
