Players: Looking for 2 more players to join an on-going campaign of Fragged Empire (first edition). Player Experience: Everyone is welcome, be you experienced with the Fragged series or not, or if you are a veteran of table top games or not. Player Character: You do not need to have a fully fleshed out character right from the onset with multi-page backstories; I will be happy to help you during character creation if need be. You don't need to fill a particular role for the group, the expectation is for you to play a character that you want to play/experience. Equipment: We play using Roll20 and discord for voice.  The campaign has been going on for a while, so you will be joining in to a group that already has some dynamics/history in character; out of character we are a friend group that have been playing together for multiple years. That being said, we are happy to welcome others, as our goal is to have a fun time playing the games we enjoy while also experiencing wacky stories, questionable choices, and the consequences of each-other's actions. I will be happy to give further context and information to those that are interested to join us. The 18+ requirement is listed because over the course of the campaign some mature topics, themes, etc. may be brought up and need to be dealt with. The campaign itself is a more sandbox style, where the group gets to decide where they go and what they do. There are stories and a living world which will have event happen even without the player's direct involvement - while the campaign "zooms in" on the players, you aren't going to have special plot armor nor be the most powerful entities. In addition, travel and downtime will be common, as such you should have an idea/understanding of what your character does or wants to do outside of direct combat. Your choices will matter, and the actions you take will have consequences for yourself, the party, and possibly the world around you. While it makes use of a lot of established lore, it isn't set in the official star systems - I also incorporate homebrew additions (such as additional equipment & weapons, and even mechanics/systems). To give some world context, the players are a group of mercenaries/pirates that have just begun making a name for themselves in the outer reaches of the frontier. Your character will need a reason to join and work alongside them - however that doesn't mean you can't be a nice character or that you have to be a "murder hobo". After-all, pirates that attack everything on site are pirates that quickly get stamped out, and without any friends or contacts one is only a bad fight away from being out of commission for a while or permanently. The frontier systems are relatively new, and as such while corporate powers do exist, they haven't fully entrenched themselves everywhere. This creates opportunities for new smaller entities to arise, but the lack of heavy influence also means that these systems are swarming with criminal and less than legal actors trying to make some credits. Yet for all its chaos, the frontier also contains great opportunities for those who are willing to exploit them - untapped resources, undiscovered ruins of the past, or even political intrigue between fledgling powers trying to become the dominant force.
