LFP - D&D 5 - Home Brew [Paid] - The Cantor's Grand Design - A series of One Shots

The Cantor's Grand Design is going to be a series of One Shots. Meaning you can play as many as you like or just drop in for a couple. As such, each one shot will be run multiple times so you may decide to come back as a group every time or find yourself playing each adventure with a different cast of characters. About Me I love setting the mood and making sure my players enjoy themselves as I've been playing for quite some time now and GMing for that much time. I enjoy campy humour and immersive sounds so I spend a lot of time in prep just getting the sound scape set up. The Game I'm always offering high RP and Combat mix hybrid in a good environment to enjoy yourselves in. Players will make their PC's at level 8 for the first adventure and then progress one level each session to a total of 13 possible sessions ending at level 20. All other Info is on the listing: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/452081/johnnys-the-cantors-grand-design The Story: For centuries, an enigmatic instrument maker known as the Cantor has been creating extraordinary devices that manipulate the boundaries between life and death. His creations include musical instruments, clockwork machines, architectural wonders and even entire buildings. Each appears to be an independent work of genius. But every one is part of something much larger. The Cantor is attempting to compose a living symphony using the souls of the dead and the emotions of the living. His ultimate goal isn't merely to raise the dead, summon a demon or achieve immortality. He intends to rewrite one of the fundamental laws of existence: Death should no longer be permanent. At first, that sounds almost benevolent. The problem is that his proposed solution would bind every mortal soul into a single eternal consciousness, controlled by whoever conducts the symphony. No individual would ever truly die. But no individual would ever truly be free again. The Cantor calls this state The Eternal Chorus. Payment Payment is $10 per session and made via PayPal. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
The first adventure is, "The Last Requiem of Blackthorn Manor". Hoping to play that one a couple times before Halloween and then multiple times Halloween day and night. Level 8, Point Buy, 8600gp to spend using The Discerning Merchants Price Guide. A nearby village offers the party 2,000gp to discover what happened to their missing people and put an end to the haunting of a nearby manor. The widow of an estate agent put up the bulk of the money when her husband tried to spruce the place up with a couple of laborers to sell it. He was the only one to come out. When he emerged, he had aged 40 years and with his dying words he said, "She's rehearsing again, and this time, she has an audience."
For Halloween I'm going to make the first One Shot a free session all Halloween weekend. Use the game link to join the Discord server and let me know which session you'd like to join. I'll add you to the One Shots group and we'll see you then. Game times are: Saturday 10AM PCT (The new time zone in BC Canada) 3PM PCT 8PM PCT Sunday 9AM PCT 2PM PCT
