I as trying to place a number inside a dungeon room. It keeps snapping to a line. I try to go to Advanced transform and I just get the options group and ungroup. When I do the same for a character token, I am able to choose from Disable Grid Snapping and other options. What am I missing here? Sorry, probably an SFQ (S = stupid, Q = question). First image is of a square, but I get the same for a number...

Hi Tim! When you say "a number" are you referring to a text object (something you typed)? if so, then the only way not to snap those is to hold down the alt/option key while dragging. If the nmber is an image, then it should behave just like a token. You can also use map pins if you prefer. They can hold a number in the icon, and do not snap.

I meant numbers like this no 3 in the screenshot below of another dungeon of mine (I've also selected the term "intersection") on the GM layer. I was working on the one in the screenshot below before I started the one in the screen shots above. Interestingly in this one, there is no need to hold the alt key. On the other hand, in yet another dungeon where my players left off the spring, I did need to use the alt key. That dungeon where the players left off was, in turn, created before the one shown below. All very weird. But your solution works perfectly, thank you so much. :-}
