Beneath the Yawning Portal tavern lies a well that drops into darkness. Adventurers descend into it every night, chasing gold and glory. Most never climb back out. Somewhere far below, the mad wizard Halaster Blackcloak is watching, and he has been expecting you... Welcome to Undermountain! This is a true megadungeon campaign: 23 sprawling levels of traps, puzzles, warring factions, and horrors, all ruled by an archmage whose sanity left long ago. Every floor is a new world with its own dangers and secrets, and every descent takes you deeper into Halaster’s twisted game. If you love tactical combat, clever problem-solving, resource management, and the thrill of pushing one level deeper than you probably should, you’ve found the right table!
