Any HERO System/Champions fans out there?

I have been wondering this question for some time but only now have I thought to find some way to ask the community. HERO System is a general RPG that is set for superheroes but can be adapted to almost anything. I have yet to find anything that these rules can't simulate. I just recently finished a Star wars game in HERO System. Is there anyone else out there who enjoys this system as much as I do? If so I would be more than happy to hear from you.

Yup. Love it. Play it. Used to make all kinds of games and characters for it. But ask your average gamer nowadays and the reaction is typically "whaaaaaa.....t????" Still, I am up for Champions and Fantasy Hero if the time is right. :-)

I've run/played champions for a long time. It is the most adaptive rules system out there. It allows for almost any character concept if you have the points to spend. I run an ongoing Avengers game, that allows for the revolving cast of Avengers characters and rotating players. We have every Avengers character in our options to choose from (From greatest to not so great [but still fun to play]). If interested, let me know. The roster continues to rotate with each storyline. This allows for a lot of players to play when they can while not disrupting the campaign when they can not play. It is designed for superhero fun in the Marvel universe. We have ten players in the rotation currently. They are currently involved in a storyline against Kang & Immortus that has allowed for some time stream hopping and rotation of roster.

I loved Champions. Haven't played in about 20 years or so, but would be interested in playing now.

Anyone interested in playing an Avenger in our Nov. 20 session send me a post. Let me know your top three Avengers. We'll get you assigned to the roster. The characters already assigned to players on the rotating roster are: Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Wolverine, Ms. Marvel, Hercules, Spider-man, Hawkeye, Dr. Strange and Quicksilver. There are still lots of Avengers to assign. Let me know.

Hello all sorry I've been out. Digging all of the love for HERO out there. I wish there was an easier system in Roll20 for playing but I've been tossig a few genres around in my head.

I usually GM and have never really gotten the chance to play but I love how everything works.

I'd like to get a HERO group together with multiple GMs so we could just pass around GM privilages. Thoughts?

I'm open to a GM rotation game as well. I have a once a month Avengers game with a rotation of players each playing different iconic members of the team. Still open to more players being able to occasionally play as members rotate in at out depending on player availability. If interested, let me know some of your Avenger character choices you'd like to play.

Hey, I have been playing Hero system for well over a decade and would love to get into a weekly or bi weekly game here. I like the mapping here and some of the other items. I can GM a game or Play in one. 5th or 6th Edition.

Those interested in joining the once a month Avengers, Champions game message me your email & Skype name. The next session is Saturday Nov. 20 at 9:30 pm central. Before then we will schedule a Skype discussion to get you a character on the Avengers roster. All Avengers are eligible, but some have been claimed. If you can't make each session that's fine. It's designed with a rotating roster of players and their characters. Hopefully going to finally get that group going Sorry I haven't een replying regularly like I intended but I was extremely busy. Anywho things are up and going now and I'm finally panning on getting that group together.
