Ajax Will Run Another Campaign of Hoard of the Dragon Queen D&D 5E

THURSDAY Will Be The Day This Campaign Is Going To Take Place (real life issue eliminated Friday as a reliable day) I will be running another campaign of Hoard of the Dragon Queen. This campaign will play about every other week, although there may be consecutive weeks on occasion. The times will be 7:00 PM CST to 10:00 PM CST The day will be Thursday . The campaign itself will feature scripted macros built into the character sheets and make use of many of the Roll20 enhancements. There already a few players signed up to play so we would be looking for 3 to 5 players, New Players and Veterans are equally welcome. There are a few restrictions and house rules that I will list here as it may affect your interest... Chat connection will be either Hangouts or Skype... There are Character Creation Instructions in the Campaign, however I will mention that an Array is Used 16, 15, 14, 12, 10 , 8 for abilities (there are no exceptions) these are modified by racial adjustments... Restricted Races: Dragonborn, Drow, Gnome, Tiefling (must have approval) Restricted Classes: Barbarian, Druid, Paladin (must have approval) SHORT REST (5E) only two short rests are allowed in a 24 hour period, during a short rest you must consume 1 pound of food and drink 1 pint of water... LONG REST (5E) during a long rest you must consume 1 to 2 pounds of food (more depending on the circumstances) and drink 1 quart of water... The ENCUMBRANCE Variant will be used... Backgrounds for characters will be built around a Bond that you will receive before the game starts... If you got room I'll join, I'm really liking our sunday game and have been wanting to play Hoard of the Dragon Queen. I'd be interested in a halfling rogue

So I'm definitely interested in playing. But determining whether it's Thursday or Friday would be pretty critical. I'm 100% on the Thursday slot but I tend to have Friday plans at least half the time. Either way I'd be interested in playing and like the house rules. I also like simple characters and I'd be up for something like a Human Fighter, soldier, just a high AC frontline kind of thing. I can send character sheets if you're interested.

Ajax is an excellent storyteller. If you are a player who enjoys character and story, you'll love him. His macro set ups work well too. Sadly, one online campaign is all I can handle right now, otherwise I'd be signing up here.

If you're running Friday that works for me. I've got plenty of 5e and Roll20 experience (mostly on the DM side). Would probably roll a Half-Elf Warlock.

If it turns out to be on Friday, I'd be rolling up a Human Cleric.

I'd be interested in a Thursday night game. I have a lot of exp with 2nd edition from back in the day. But I am new to Roll20 and have not played 5e, though I keep devouring the PHB I have. I am interested in playing a Half-elf Fighter 1/Warlock the rest of the way or a Mt Dwarf Warlock (Fiend/Pact of the Blade, melee/caster mix for these concepts) if multi-classing is not allowed, or a Human Tempest Cleric. Ajax, played a RotRL campaign with you a while back along with Troy up there. Would love to get in on one again, especially 5E. Thursdays are my best day(wouldn't be able to do Fridays at all) Simple concept is probably make a HalfOrc/Sorcerer or a Halfling/Bard, maybe a Dwarf/Wizard

Would be very interested if game is on Friday nights. Concept is a wood-elf Monk. Very experienced GM (D&D and Pathfinder) looking for a chance to actually play as a player for once!

@Nozza, Warforged are not in 5e.

If you want to be technical they would be detailed in the DMG which I don't think is out yet but I could be wrong.

@Aaron, I thought they were supposed to be added into the DM guide? I forgot it isn't out yet. In that case, probably Half Orc then.

I would be extremely interested in joining your HotDQ campaign, I have seen you post games before but this is the first one that actually has a time that works for me. As for character concept I would probably be looking at a dwarf/rogue and if that didn't work out elf/fighter or half-elf/warlock

Dwarf Fighter, probably a sword and board. Just looking to run around and hit things with some RPing involved ;) I will admit though, I haven't actually played 5e yet. Most of my experience lies in 2e and 3.5e. If thats alright then the day/time works for me.
