Looking for help to begin first game

Hello, my name is Michel Rieskes, i'm 15 years old and from the netherlands. I think D&D is a awesome game, but i've never played it before and i would be really thankfull if somebody could learn me the basics of the game. I'm sorry, i know my English isn't the best, but i'm trying my best. Michel Rieskes
Hi Michel! Welcome to Roll20. I recommend checking out our Introduction to Tabletop RPGs set of videos to get started. You may also want to check out the Getting Started for Players video to learn a bit about the basics of Roll20. Once you've done that, you can check out the Looking for Group Tool to search for a game. You can even use the " Only find games that welcome new players" checkbox in your search to look for games that welcome players that might be unfamiliar with any particular system you are interested in.

Michel, I do not know what languages you speak but in the Looking for Group Tool that Sarah mentions, you can change the language to more than just English in order to find a game in your native tongue or one you are more comfortable with. I did a quick look on google and some pages said Dutch, Germany, and I think French is spoken commonly in your country. The language filter has French and German setup in it. I saw some Finnish language games listed in (Other) language.
I have a game set up for starting in two weeks and I'll need help perfecting the RP so it'll be great. Can anyone help me with this?
Benjamin, if you are looking to recruit some players, you could try posting in the "Looking For Group" forum. If you are wanting help with how to execute specific aspects of your game in Roll20, I suggest posting in the "Specific Use Questions" forum.
Thanks everybody for replying! Im going to check it out! ;)
