Squidfaced Robe Wearer Tokens (by David North)

So, a few weeks back I saw a tweet from David North on my roll20 home page about a token pack that should be coming out...it had Squidfaced Robe Wearer. Any idea when that'll hit the Marketplace? I totally want those tokens. Please... Thanks Alan for catching my faux pas. :)

There are a lot of places online selling artwork of illithids (specifically calling the character either an illithid or a mindflayer) despite illithids being part of WotC's product identity. A quick web search doesn't find any attempted court cases on the matter either, but I'm not a lawyer, so take all of that with a grain of salt. Bonus points: Gygax designed the illithid based on the cover art for The Burrowers Beneath , a book set in the Cthulhu Mythos.

Clearly these just bear a superficial resemblance and are in fact some squidfaced robe-wearers, Easily confused but no doubt a totally different entity in the public domain, with a very different description and origin.

Any similarity between Squidfaced Robe-wearers and any other being, living dead or fictional, is purely coincidental. No Squidfaced Robe-wearers were harmed in the making of these tokens.
