Help with targetting please

ok so i'm using the pathfinder sheet http://puu.sh/g41QX/aa523ce701.png this one i try to attack it says this http://puu.sh/g41Us/8d22b07b7e.png how do i target a character? since i am left clicking and that apparently does not work this is incredibly frustrating there are only so many ways to click something.
Left-clicking should work. The only thing I can think of is that your token is not properly linked to a journal entry, and hence doesn't have whatever attribute the system is looking for. But I'd think that would give you an error message, not just 'nothing'. I also notice that you have nothing filled in for "Attack Mods", which would probably give you an error, but not in targeting. Hope that helps? -Phnord
well the thing is i loged in as a player and i can't click or target any other icons that arent my own at all like they are part of the background
i just want to know how to select a token without being a GM with my mouse
Again, left-clicking should work. Check with your GM to make sure the target token is on the token layer; if it's a map item, it won't work.
The tokens are on the token layer and set on the front, the journals entries are correct and still as a player i can't target

Hi, Run. When you're in targeting mode your mouse cursor will turn into a crosshair when you're hovering over a clickable target. All tokens on the token level should be targetable. For example if you used this "/me attacks @{target|target1|token_name}" You would enter into targeting mode. The result would be "Run attacks token_name".

only the one i have control of is targetable ive tried everything double checked everything all the tokens are at token layers and still nothing as a player i just can't target/ get the crosshairs on anyone and when i do click on the token i can control and type that macro it says i need to select a target. i don't know what it could be at this point everyone keeps saying its the layer but i'm checking the layer is on token layer and still nothing can be clicked. Even as a GM i click on tokens try the command it says i haven't targeted anyone even with that macro it still says no is there anyway someone can just physically come to our game and try and help us?
Figured it out someone came to the game to help us

What was the bug/issue? (For the benefit of others who find this post via searching later)
basically when i was targeting it made it look like a error, but it wasn't a error the message was telling me to attack (like to click on the target) like 6 other people also assumed the box that came out was stating it was a targeting error instead of it telling you to click on a token
