[Help!] Updating Character Sheets (or GitHub for Dummies)

I could have sworn there was a break down of this posted to the CSS Wizardry thread. Alas, I am wrong, and I can't seem to find an easy answer anywhere, so... How do I go about updating my existing character sheet through GitHub? GitHub and I do not get along well. I don't find anything about it that's intuitive. The last time I tried to push out an update to my Witch Hunter character sheet, I ran into all sorts of trouble because I was updating the original HTML and CSS files. It seemed as though any updated files needed to have different names associated with them. So it's been months now, and I'd really like to update my sad original sheets. Can anyone help walk me through the steps? Please use small words. ;) Thanks!

Have you checked this out: <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Beginner%27s_Guide_to_GitH" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Beginner%27s_Guide_to_GitH</a>... I think that has just about everything you'd need to know. It looks a lot like what Brian posted a while back, but the wiki appears to be a bit more comprehensive. I hope this helps.

Yes, it's very similar to the set of instructions I've posted twice on the forums. In fact, if you check the history on the page, I'm currently the only editor for the guide. ~_^
