Gauging interest; OWoD Werewolf : The Apocalypse RP-heavy long-term campaign.

Hello everyone, and thanks in advance for your interest.  I’ve been interested in running a oWoD Werewolf : The Apocalypse game for some time, and after a recent failed attempt at running it for my tabletop group, I’m bringing it to roll20 to see if there is anyone here interested in joining me to get a long-term campaign off the ground.  My recent attempt failed primarily because of mismatched expectations on the part of me and my players, so I’m going to outline a few points, both what I expect from the players and what they can expect from me, in order to hopefully avoid that same sort of ‘one and done’ thing here. Warning, incoming wall-of-text, proceed with caution should such a thing not interest you. Firstly, a word about my gaming style and the prospective campaign : As a disclaimer right off the bat, I am a complete ‘noob’ when it comes to roll20.  I have neither ran a campaign nor played in one on this system.  It will be a learn-as-I-go sort of experience for me, so patience will be required in the beginning. And as a secondary disclaimer, I’ve only recently re-entered the world of GMing after a ten plus year ‘vacation’, so I may be a bit rusty at points.  Again, some patience will probably be required and will be appreciated. I consider myself a storytelling GM.  Mechanics take a backseat to story in any situation in which the two conflict or collide.  If you desire something to happen for your character that isn’t covered in the rules but makes sense in the story, I’ll work with you on it.  I’ll take your character concept and background and directly incorporate it into the story.  I’m crafting this story for you, the player, primarily, so your enjoyment of it and immersing you and your character in it is paramount to me.  I welcome constructive criticism in regards to how I run the game, whether it relates to something you think I could do better or something I could stop doing altogether.  That said, no one likes a rules lawyer.  So long as everyone is enjoying the game and it’s flowing smoothly, rules are a secondary consideration in my book. Now, a few qualities I am looking for in perspective players : 1. The willingness to commit to a time and actually show up.  That said, I am a working adult with a family and I understand that last minute things can and will come up.  All I ask for is consideration for my time and that of the other players, this can be shown by letting me/us know in advance when you will need to miss a game or be late.  Perfect attendance not required, and no hard feelings, but frequent no-shows or late arrivals will outwear their welcome quickly. 2. A desire to ROLE-play over ROLL-play.  This is the primary reason that my last game fell apart.  I’m not particularly adverse to the occasional loot-fest hack’n’slash dungeon crawl, but not only is oWoD not a system suited for this style of play in my opinion, but I am not a GM suited to this style.  Rewards in this game will come in the form of character development, story advancement and roleplaying opportunities, not a +1 Fork of Forkiness.  Just something to keep in mind so that you enter into this game with realistic expectations. 3.  I expect a certain amount of narration on your part regarding your character’s in-game actions.  Example :  You are fleeing through the woods after being spotted by a patrol unit of Black Spirals.  You are outnumbered and determine your best course of action is to hide and attempt to let them pass you by so that you can double-back and head back in the direction from which they gave chase.  Rather than simply using the dice to determine simple success or failure, describe the method you are using to attempt to hide.  Under a fallen, rotten, moss-covered log; between the exposed roots of a large tree;  standing beside the tree and attempting to skirt around it as they pass.  I’m not looking for a short story, or meticulous detail, but just a general idea so that everyone can better visualize the scene.  The dice will determine if your effort is successful or not, but I’m the sort of GM who is likely to make the difficulty of a hide check in the above scenario easier if it is accompanied by a particularly well thought out and described plan of action.  I’m not the sort of GM that will narrate your character’s successful action for you as part of the overall scene(ex. Player rolls dice, check successful. “Ok, so you manage to hide from the Spirals by ducking beside a fallen log”, etc.); that’s your job.  What I will do is help you determine what objects in the environment will facilitate your desired action, as that is my job.  The expectation is that we all work together cooperatively to tell/describe the scene, and that you take an active role in describing your character’s part in it. So, you rolled a successful save vs. wall o’ text and made it this far(or skipped ahead…for shame.) and you are still interested?  I’ll get to the (hopefully) interesting, and pertinent, part: System : oWoD Werewolf : The Apocalypse Revised Edition Time Zone and Prospective Game times: I’m in the Mountain time zone, GMT-7.  Will run on whatever day is collectively agreed upon with the players as best, preferably Friday night, Saturday or Sunday, but am open to most weekdays.  Once/if we establish a solid group, we’ll all come to an agreement on the time frame that works best for everyone as well. Player requirements : Eighteen plus, as the story will be dark and feature mature themes at times.  So long as you have the ability to express yourself semi-coherently and find yourself in agreement with everything I’ve laid out above, you’re probably a match.  I’m not discriminatory towards gender/sexual preference/rel. preference/country of origin or anything else in regards to prospective members of the group and neither should you be. Campaign setting : Denver, Colorado, present day. How many players are you looking for?: 3-6 Campaign type?  Home-brew or module? We will start with a modified ‘module’…Rite of Passage…and eventually work our way into original content as the story progresses. Gaming Medium : Roll20.  Possibly Skype or email for character creation/explanation. Starting ‘level’ : Rank 0 Cubs preparing to undergo their Rite of Passage. Restrictions : Garou exclusively at the start.  Should we progress to a point where a player character dies and the player wants to create a new character from another of the Changing breeds, I’m willing to explore the possibility.  No cross-system characters are likely to be allowed at any point. (Mage, Vampire, Mummy, Hunter etc.) Character Creation : To be done either on the line with me, over Skype, or through email.  Everything outside of the norm (Abilities over three dots, cross-breed/tribe/auspice gifts, etc.) to be allowed on a by-approval basis only.  Looking for ‘realistic’, original and interesting characters…not everyone should be an ex-Army Ranger or SWAT Team member. Character background : Should be fairly detailed and extensive.  I won’t be requiring a novel, but a simple three word character concept “Angry biker dude” type of background is not going to cut it.  You should have a solid idea of what your character has been doing for at least the past few years leading up to your first change.  You don’t necessarily need to have it in written form, but if not, have the ability to relay it to me over Skype so I can make note of it.  The more in-depth and detailed, the better. Do I need to have experience with the setting/White Wolf Storyteller system? No.  Werewolf 'noob's are just as welcome as Werewolf veterans.  I'm willing to run a quick "introductory" one-on-one session with inexperienced players to introduce them to the system, as well as walk them through character creation.  So long as you have a desire to learn the system and setting you are more than welcome. When will we start?   Well, largely depends on how long it takes to assemble a solid core group.  Ideally, 2-3 weeks, with time between now and then spent creating characters and possibly running through short “first change” sessions individually if requested. How can I express interest? Respond in this thread or shoot me a PM if you have any questions or would like to sign up. Lastly, thanks again for your interest, and for dealing with the aforementioned wall’o text.  I hope to hear from interested parties soon. -  Tony

This sounds very interesting. I'll have to get back to you, but I love me some WWTA (So much that 4 of my tats are from the game). I'll keep an eye on this thread and let you know before it gets rolling.
Always wanted to play White Wolf...  I'll have to dust off my old rulebook and think of a character concept, but count me in!  (I'll try and get back to you in a day or so) PS: For some reason I keep trying to avoid creating a "boxer" type character whenever I make a werewolf, i.e. Bone Gnawer former golden gloves champion fightin' for an afternoon meal.  Its usually that, or a Get of Fenris construction worker with a pickup truck full of power tools.  If either of these sound interesting to you, cool, if not, i'll try to think up something else.
Hey, werewolf noob here. I'd be happy to join in on this despite having no prior experience with this game.
I would very much like to join this. While I have no experience with Werewolf the Apocalypse, I have played a fair amount of oWoD VTM. My character concept is in the making, as I am not entirely sure about what kind of restrictions and guidelines I should follow for a Werewolf character, but I will be looking into it.
Like the last few I have not played in the oWoD but I have played in the nWoD as a werewolf (bracing for the remarks), I would like to play.
Some of my responses below will address some points to assist with character creation/conceptualization, so should be somewhat useful to everyone. &nbsp;To avoid repeating myself, I'll insert a thanks to everyone who has responded for their interest right here at the top. &nbsp;Thanks! Christopher L. - Right on, look forward to hearing your ideas. Kevin B. - &nbsp;Either of those work fine for me, really it's all about what concept intrigues you the most from my point of view. &nbsp;Some of the most interesting, humorous and well-played characters I've come across in past games have been from one of those two tribes, I have no qualms with either of them. The only type of character 'concept' I am expressly prohibiting is the 'master-of-all trades' Rambo-esque types. &nbsp;An expert martial artist who also just so happens to be a former Navy Seal sniper and demolitions expert. &nbsp;Something over the top like that, while interesting in that 80's Arnold movie sort of way, is not compelling for me to run for, and is usually not interesting to the other players as they take a backseat role in action scenes while the 'pro' deals with things. &nbsp;Not saying that's what you had in mind, just giving a general example for everyone of the only type of character I would really frown upon. &nbsp;Having a specialization in one form of combat, say, boxing to borrow from your example, is perfectly fine in my book, and leaves plenty of room for your character to progress in other areas as the story evolves. &nbsp;Every balanced pack needs at least a few characters who can hold their own in combat. The only other thing I would suggest, and something I bring up as both of your concepts seem to be for somewhat older characters, is that while brainstorming your character keep in mind the&nbsp;time-frame&nbsp;of a Garou's first change. &nbsp;This generally occurs sometime during puberty, and shortly thereafter they are generally taken into the fold of their respective local Tribe. &nbsp;As your characters will be starting out as cubs yet to undergo their Rite of Passage, a stereotypical Garou would be around sixteen to twenty-one years old(or wolf&nbsp;equivalent if a Lupus)&nbsp;at this stage. &nbsp;The first change can happen after this age range, but it is generally rare, and your character would be considered somewhat of a 'late-bloomer' so to speak. &nbsp;There are no tangible in-game drawbacks to making your character a bit older, and I am not particularly for or against it either way, just something to keep in mind as you go through the brainstorming process. As an aside, I don't mean to imply that you aren't familiar with the Werewolf/WoD setting if that's the way it appears, just figured I would expand on my suggestions to you to also be useful to anyone else reading them who may not be. Rosauro - Great, as I said in the first post new players are more than welcome. &nbsp;I'm probably going to setup a dropbox download of a few of the relevant Werewolf : TA .pdf files so that everyone who does not own the Werewolf books can utilize them to create their characters, but in the meantime here is a link to a wiki that contains information on Werewolf and the World of Darkness setting in general for you to browse at your leisure :&nbsp; <a href="http://whitewolf.wikia.com/wiki/Werewolf:_The_Apocalypse" rel="nofollow">http://whitewolf.wikia.com/wiki/Werewolf:_The_Apocalypse</a> .&nbsp; If you're only going to look at a few things, check out the Tribes, Breeds and Auspice pages in particular, these will be the most important decisions you'll need to make before character creation. &nbsp;As for a character concept, the game will be set in modern times, and for the 'ignorant masses'(i.e. normal humans) the World of Darkness setting is much like our own world, only everything is tilted a bit more towards the 'dark and gloomy' side. &nbsp;More pollution, more poverty, more corruption...etc. &nbsp;Your character will likely have zero experience with the supernatural, something I would recommend for new players so that essentially you are learning the system/setting as your character experiences it, and will have grown up as either a normal human or feral wolf would in the real world. &nbsp; Feel free to fire away with any questions you may have regarding anything relating to the game system, character creation or my campaign in particular. Cuthwulf - Same thing as above. &nbsp;Since you've played Vampire you have experience with the system in general, it's just a matter of the Werewolf specific mechanics such as Tribe, Breed and Auspice that you should have to worry about learning. &nbsp;Attributes, Abilities and backgrounds are largely the same as VtM. Dustin H . - No scathing remarks from me regarding nWoD Werewolf and your past experience with it, I just find that I personally prefer the oWoD Werewolf more, particularly the dynamics of the tribes opposed to what they introduced with the setting reboot in nWoD. &nbsp;Either way you're welcome here, and I'll directly address your PM with a return one shortly. &nbsp;In the meantime, might be worth checking out the wiki linked above for some oWoD specific Werewolf details to get you started. I'm at work for the next few hours, hence the delayed response, but I will work on a more concise character creation related post when I get home tonight. &nbsp;For the time being, as mentioned above, feel free to ask any questions you might have here in the thread or through PM. &nbsp;
Hi &nbsp;im a long time Werewolf player &nbsp;and whould like to get in on this if i can. im based in England but work nights so i will be able to join in &nbsp;this whould be my first Roll 20 game so i will learn right alongside you i will work up a character if you feel i will fit in willing to play almost any combination they all have there pro's and con's&nbsp;
I was thinking about what you said earlier, I had imagined the boxer as having learned to suppress his rage through alcohol and training, (a sort of "binge and purge" cycle) and the construction worker as a young guy, early twenties, who grew up in a sexually repressed religious household.&nbsp; (I kind of picture Adam Corolla from "The Hammer")&nbsp; I think I'll go with the later, make him a Homid, Philodox, Children of Gaia.&nbsp; I can stat him out if you like, not sure what kind of program you want to use but I'll print something up on notepad. There was a time when I literally did nothing but eat, sleep and breath WtA, but it kind of fell out of favor with me due to the fact that nobody wanted to play it.&nbsp; (I always tend to catch on to trends as they are waning in popularity)
Alright, here is my character in a nutshell: Name: "Brick Hardcheese" alias "Convenient Placeholder" aka "I'll think of something later" Breed: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Homid Auspice: &nbsp; &nbsp;Philodox Tribe: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Children of Gaia Strength&nbsp; &nbsp;4 Mixing concrete all day, hauling lumber, ect. I'd love to run on friday or saturday, unfortunately, i find that most people have plans and hate waking up early.&nbsp; (I have no life)&nbsp; I ran a mage game on Sunday evenings for nearly a year, that time seemed to work well for everybody, so long as we all got to bed on time.&nbsp; I'm on the West Coast, so that will put me at a couple hours earlier than you timewise.&nbsp; I have no idea where all these guys from the UK come from, not knocking it, but if your willing to put up with a 12 hour time differential, you must really want to play!
its not so bad for me as i work during the nights so im mostly nocturnal it makes it harder to arange things localy than the other side of the world &nbsp;:)
Good day to you gents, posting the long overdue character creation blurb that I've been meaning to have up for a few days. &nbsp;Got a bit sidetracked on Thursday, then the interwebs ate a massive post I had written up yesterday at work(okay, so it wasn't so much the internet's fault as it was me accidentally hitting the refresh button, but rage inducing either way!) So, for those of you without access to the ruleset for the time being, here is a handy free official "Introductory" reference document :&nbsp; <a href="http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/3370/Werewolf-the-Apocalypse---Free-Introductory-Kit?it=1" rel="nofollow">http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/3370/Werewolf-the-Apocalypse---Free-Introductory-Kit?it=1</a> Note : &nbsp;This document is using a wonky "lite" version of the rules, so most of the system information(combat, skill usage, gifts) in the back of the guide is not an accurate representation of the rules we will be using. &nbsp;What this guide does provide in the first half is accurate setting, tribe, auspice and breed information. &nbsp;Once your character has been accepted into the game I'll send you a copy of the 'real' ruleset and we can pick up character creation from there. How to be accepted into the game : &nbsp; The reality is that there are more players interested in participating in the game than there are spots open 'at the table', so there naturally has to be some sort of selection process that takes place. &nbsp;As players are accepted I'll post their names here. &nbsp;Now, what do you the player need to do to have your character accepted into the group? &nbsp; Simple, the first step is expressing your interest here or through PM. &nbsp;Secondly, post or PM me a character concept that is in the spirit of my first post. &nbsp;I'm not looking for incredible detail, just give me a general idea of what your character's background is like, what tribe you plan on playing, what auspice, breed ...etc. &nbsp;I'm not going to lie, an interesting and original concept will help you in the end if there are so many players that complete this step that I'm having to go through and pick and choose. &nbsp;There will be a lot of inner-'party' roleplay in this game, and having a diverse group of interesting characters will ultimately be in the interest of both myself and your fellow players. Character Restrictions :&nbsp; Tribe : &nbsp; There are no restrictions outside of the ones that should be obvious. &nbsp;No Black Spiral Dancers, Bunyip, Croatan etc. &nbsp;We will be playing the Revised edition, in which the Stargazers have left the Garou nation and gone back to the far east. &nbsp;Keep this in mind if you want to play a Stargazer. &nbsp;I will allow it, but your character will experience no small amount of prejudice from other tribes due to the actions of his own. &nbsp;I think this would make for some interesting roleplay opportunities, so I'm not attempting to discourage it, just stating that up front. Breed : No restrictions. &nbsp; Auspice : Again, no restrictions. Character Homeland/Culture of origin : No restrictions. &nbsp;There is a hook in the opening part of the campaign designed specifically to allow for the characters to be from any part of the world, so feel free to make your character from anywhere you would like. Character Background : Outside of the guidelines in my first post, there are no real restrictions. &nbsp;Your character's background should be written up to the point of their First Change, or after if you are familiar enough with the Werewolf system and feel you don't need to roleplay through it. &nbsp;Keep in mind your characters are still Cubs, a point in the Garou's life where they are treated essentially like children and expected to learn the ways of the Garou culture, and they are not punished for breaches of ettiquitte like an 'adult' would be. &nbsp;It is not until after they have successfully undergone the Rite of Passage, the focus of the beginning of the campaign, that they ascend to the rank of Cliath and are considered to truly be a part of the Garou society. &nbsp;Thus they are also not entrusted to go out on "missions", and the Rite of Passage will be your character's first real test since discovering their Garou heritage. What you should include in the character concept you provide me : &nbsp; All of the above.
Robert B : Right on, man. &nbsp;No problem with your locale so long as you are able to readily attend the games, which it sounds like you will, so go ahead and character concept it up! Kevin : &nbsp;I like the character. &nbsp;It's an interesting take on a Child of Gaia, a departure from the 'tree-hugger' stereotype that they tend to be portrayed as. &nbsp;By the way...if you name-dropped the Aceman to get on my good side...it totally worked. &nbsp; A few questions for you...Do you have the full version of Adobe? &nbsp; I have editable .pdf Tribe specific character sheets I can provide. &nbsp;Also, I have a .pdf of the Children of Gaia revised Tribebook, revised Player's Guide and the newly released Werewolf 20th Anniversary edition rulebook. &nbsp;Things you would be interested in?
I have a hardcover of the basic book, and the bone gnawers tribebook.&nbsp; (I ended up throwing away a lot of my old WoD stuff, then bought it back on Amazon)&nbsp; I'm interested in the pdfs, not sure I'll use them, but I'll give it a look.
hmm, guess i mangled my ability spread a bit... not sure how i managed that.&nbsp; Here is the revised version. Alertness &nbsp; &nbsp;2 On the lookout for bullies, disgruntled union workers, ect. Athletics&nbsp; &nbsp;3 Still plays football, basketball, ect. Brawl &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2 Grew up in rough ethnic neighborhood, got picked on cause he was white Dodge &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;3 Elementary School "Dodgeball King" Empathy&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;1 Nice guy, listens to other peoples problems. Streetwise&nbsp; &nbsp;2 Just enough street smarts to survive Skills Crafts&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;3 Construction Worker, Framer, Carpenter, Plumber, Electrician, ect. Drive&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2 Pick up truck, dirt bikes, dirt roads, ect. Melee&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;3 Learned how to use hand tools to defend himself Survival&nbsp; &nbsp;2 Camping out in the woods, fishing, hiking, ect. Knowledges Computer&nbsp; &nbsp;1 Community College, Learning Annex, ect. Languages&nbsp; &nbsp;1 Community College, Grew up in Spanish Speaking Neighborhood Medicine&nbsp; &nbsp;2 Used to treat workplace injuries, ect. Oh, wow. I haven't played this game in so long (I think it's been around twelve years or so)! I'd love to play, if the time of play matches. I'd like to make a young Shadow Lord. It's kind of funny that you're doing this in Denver. When I ran a game once upon a time I had a Hunter and Vampire game set in Denver (I believe we blew up the Pepsi Center...ha ha...sorry Nuggets). Anyway, it's been a long time since I played anything by White Wolf. I might not be a newb, but I'm most definitely rusty. Since this is also my first time on Roll20, how is the best way to submit a character sheet to you for approval?&nbsp;
Have you created a campaign, yet, Tony? You are in a weird part of the forums, you don't show up on the regular "Looking For Group" forums, the ones that post icons and list game descriptions and playtimes.
Kevin B. : I haven't, I just posted this in the Looking for Group section of the Community forums. Should probably get on that, I'll look into it. Daniel C. : &nbsp;Sent you a PM.
I have always wanted to play a Werewolf game. Played like 2 games of Vampire, but I couldn't get into it (not a fan of vampires). That was about 12 years ago. I have a WtA player's guide from second edition that has never been used, ever. I know you said Revised, but how different is it from the 2nd edition version? And would the Player's Guide be all I would need to create a character, or would I need more than just that one? Saturday would be the best time for me, at any time during the day. I have other games on Friday and Sunday. Also, I am a complete noob when it comes to the White Wolf system. I did look into the new World of Darkness books, but didn't care for the changes, so old WoD wouldn't be bad. As for character concept, I am so used to medieval fantasy type systems (dnd, pathfinder) that something more modern is a bit foreign to me, when it comes to characters. I will have to read up on my Player's Guide, or that free intro thing you linked earlier in the thread, to get an idea. I am not a noob to roll20, been using it since December 2012. It would also be a nice change of pace to be in a roleplay heavy game, as the d20 system games I am in seem to lean more into the combat/"rollplay" vein. From my 2 game experience of VtM, there wasn't much in the way of combat that GM did, which was nice. So, I will take a look at the link you posted first for a lite version, and then look at my 2nd edition player's guide for more indepth stuff. Of course, I don't know how different the Revised is compared to Second Edition. Edit: Character creation for World of Darkness is completely foreign to me, so would definitely need help in that department. Was thinking of a Lupus Red Talon Ahroun, probably as a more subtle type who goes for stalking. Of course, that could be the "domain" of the Ragabash, but I am really bad at playing a trickster Coyote/Loki/Puck type character. I have a concept thought out, possibly including the First Change, though not sure about that.
Hey tony have you gotten my pm's?
Hmm... After reading over a lot about the Red Talons, not sure if I would choose them or another type. A Red Talon might not work too well. Will look at the others and see if another would be interesting to play. Of course, if Tony W thinks it could work out, I can make an attempt at a Red Talon.
Conner W. : I have, apparently they got a bit buried amongst the others, I'll respond to them shortly. Oreo : &nbsp;What's up, thanks for your interest, a few things : Werewolf Second Edition vs. Revised&nbsp;:&nbsp; &nbsp; Revised is simply a revised version of Second edition....errata, some rule clarifications, a few new abilities, etc...no major rule or system changes, anything from Second Edition book-wise will translate over to Revised fairly seamlessly. &nbsp; Now, if you have the Second Edition "Players Guide" and not the actual Core book, the Player's guide is not going to be terribly helpful in character creation. &nbsp;It's a supplement with some additional Abilities, Gifts, etc, as opposed to a D&amp;D version of a Player's Handbook that contains all of the basic character creation material. &nbsp;You'll need a copy of the Core rulebook to truly go about 'stat'ing out your character, and I can provide a .pdf copy of the Revised Core book if you need it. &nbsp;We can also get together through roll20 or Skype and walk through this process, no big deal. &nbsp; Hit me up with a character concept as laid out a few posts back and we'll go from there in terms of character creation. Tribes : &nbsp; &nbsp; As stated a few posts back, there are no restrictions as to what Tribe you want to make your character be a member of. &nbsp;Red Talons will be a roleplay challenge, no doubt, and it's very likely that conflict would occasionally arise between your character and the homid members of the pack. &nbsp;I don't consider this a bad thing, I consider it an opportunity for interesting inter-party roleplay to unfold. &nbsp;That said, so long as you don't go overboard with it and instead make the Red Talon's prejudices against humans and technology an interesting aspect of your characters persona, I don't foresee an issue. Auspices :&nbsp; Regarding the 'stereotypical' view of Ragabash, not all Ragabash need be the court jester type. &nbsp;Their primary role is to be the questioner of tradition, and to provide a contrasting view of long-accepted truths and practices. &nbsp;The Ragabash are born under the New Moon, but if you drill down a bit into the lore, there are different Ragabash archetypes associated with the waxing and waning phases. &nbsp;From the WoD wiki, here : Ragabash of the waxing moon (that is, the day after the new moon) are said to be more cheerful and light-hearted than their brethren and are more apt to use humor. Those of the waning moon (24 hours before the new moon) are supposedly a darker sort, more obsessed with the shadows, secrets, and doom. They are also said to pull ruthless, vicious pranks and use a more biting sense of humor. Sounds like a Waning Ragabash might fit the type of character you're envisioning. &nbsp;Just making a suggestion that you might not want to immediately dismiss playing a Ragabash, as if you are truly going for a stealthy type, Gift's available to Ragabash are much more fitting than Ahroun, which tend to be geared towards strictly combat. &nbsp;Something to keep in mind.
Now all we need is a glass walker, a get, and a black fury.&nbsp; It will be like a republican primary.
Sent ya a PM, Tony, with my Skype info. I do have an idea for a non-Red Talon, though. Just in case. As for what tribe for that character, I have no clue. And KevinB: From what I have heard, there could possibly be a get.
Great.&nbsp; Me and the Get can have a three-way love affair with the Black Fury that ends up with my character taking full custody of a freakishly disfigured Metis child which is probably not mine.&nbsp; They run off to Mexico while I'm stuck paying alimony and taking care of the kid.&nbsp; Maybe you could kill the Glass Walker in a barfight over who is going to pay the tab, and we'll both meet up in a Cabin in Yucca Valley after I dispose of the child. Baby go down the well!
Wow a Fury/Fenris Metis &nbsp; if it survives untill its a teenager that would kickstart the Apocalypse right there
As far as the timeframe that would work best for me... Saturday anytime would be the best, with a preferred end time no later than 11pm EST.
Rats.&nbsp; I've got a game booked for saturday afternoon, not sure how that would work with the time difference, Saturday games tend to run a little long.&nbsp; I might ditch it and run it as a one-shot, but Tony hasn't really set up a gamechat or anything, so I'm not sure if I'd want to do that.&nbsp; I don't want to double book Saturdays.
Just curious, but since we have yet to undergo our Rites of Passage, does that mean when don't learn our gifts until after we start?&nbsp; I think I remember reading that somewhere...
For me, my definite unavailable times are Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday after 7pm Eastern (5pm Mountain), as I have some d20 games during those times. So, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturdays I am free any time, while Sunday, Tuesday, and Fridays I am free up to 7pm eastern time.
Hey Tony was just wondering if you guys were still taking players or if you filled up cause I'd love to get in on this.
