Hello,
The measurement line and number persists on the map if I right click while measuring. The measurement remains drawn until I select the measurement tool again at which point a new measurement is drawn from the last box I have clicked on. Once I left click this measurement is permanently drawn on the map.
Steps:
1. Begin a measurement
2. Right click to bring up the edit, paste, undo menu
3. Left click anywhere on the map. The measurement remains drawn on the map until step 4
4. Select the measurement tool. A measurement beginning in the last square selected to the current pointer location is drawn. Left click anywhere on the map. This measurement is permanently drawn on the map.
