Uploading files

So I've read that one can't upload one's own music for the jukebox. I assume the same holds true for uploading maps or tokens? I have (as I am sure many others too) a big collection of songs, maps and images that I would like to use in my games. Being unable to upload them is a major drawback for me, so much so that it will probably keep me from using this potentially awesome tool.
To load maps and tokens, just drag them on your Roll20 map.
Thank you, this increases the usefulness tenfold. The situation with the music is still unfortunate though.
=)
nm. I installed thunar so i can drag&drop :)
How about letting us up load pdfs for maps
You can upload music/sounds by putting them up on soundcloud and adding the roll20 tag on them.
I did read about doing that, but frankly that's an annoying solution.
How about letting us up load pdfs for maps I was able to do this by opening the PDF and taking a print screen of the maps. Then I cropped the map picture in Paint. Next simply drag and drop into the roll20 tool and resize. I'm running a one-shot adventure published from WOTC and am using their maps for each room. Super easy!
If you have GIMP, Photoshop or another image editor that does PDFs and other image formats, you can also open the PDF and resave it as an appropriate image format to use.
You'll lose less quality this way than with a print screen, which is limited to the size and definition of your screen.
And GIMP is a free download, even if you're only ever going to use it to resave PDFs to JPGs or whatever.
