Limited Exploding Dice

Edited 1426590596
There are some systems out there, and even various houserules for more common systems, that use a set of exploding dice that only roll up to a limited number of times. The current system will roll up to infinity as long as the conditions for the exploding dice are met so a 1d8! could roll up to 8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8+8~etc with enough luck. But in some systems you don't want dice to explode in this fashion instead you want it to only roll up, for example, 2 times. So a 1d8!#2 would roll 8+8+8 at best, stopping after the 2nd extra roll. This would be even better if the new cs>X feature could be configured to only outline the roll if all dice are crits. Perhaps a new syntax of csa>X so 1d8!#2csa>6 would roll up to 3d8 and only outline if all rolls are 6 or more... 8+8+5 = no crit 8+6 = crit similarly a 3d8csa>6 would roll 3d8 and only outline if all 3 rolls are 6 or more
