Learn 5E Friday Night April 24th at 7:00 PM CDT One Session Game For New Players

I will be running another 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons Session at 7:00 PM CDT Friday Night April 24th, session will run 3 hours... This will be geared some what toward New Players but anyone who wants to can play... This game will feature up to 6 Pre Generated Characters that are fully scripted and complete with all the macros... The available characters are a Fighter, a Cleric, a Wizard, a Rogue, a Bard, and a Paladin. The characters are level 2 The event will use almost all of Roll20's bells and whistles including dynamic lighting and the API.... New Players will find the game quite easy to jump right in... The game will use either Hangouts or Skype for the Chat Connection so a working Mic is required, no video will be used... If you are interested and SERIOUS in joining post something HERE... I will repeat this again as there is a terrible problem here in Roll20 with people who sign up for games and don't show up, this denies a punctual player who wanted to play, but couldn't because someone signed up for the Link and was a NO SHOW... Hey, I'm completely new to 5E and was looking for a way to learn. This looks like the right kind of place, so count me in. Just a few questions: what are we expected to know before trying this out? And what rulebooks (if any) should we have handy for this session? Thanks.

Heya. I'm new to dnd and roll20 but I'd love to join you tonight. I don't get out of work til 5est andmost likely won't be able to join in time. I'd like to join in if possible. I've played D&D years ago and really want to try it out again. Also, I've already read the basic rules and even bought the Starter Kit to DM a game for my friends, but it's probably best if I play a game before that to learn from action :)

I live in rural Iowa so the nearest tabletop gaming store is two hours away. I started to search roll20 but was very aprehensive about joining games. I didn't want to hold a group down as they began to teach me how the game works. This game would be a perfect opportunity for me. Please let me know if you have a spot open. All the character sheets have links to the Basic Rules on them, however to play in these games you only need to show up as the character sheets themselves will guide you through playing the game... really good times tonight. ajax was a great help showing me the ropes. learned that rivers are not your friends!

Ajax is the man. This was such a good experience and he was willing to teach a few new players the ropes. roll20 has such good maps that it blew me away for my first time, and made me crave more. I will definitly be building my own maps, and hopefully starting my own campaign.

The adventure was great! Had a blast! Thanks for introducing me to D&D, I certainly liked it. I'll see if I can convince me friends to play as well. Thanks man!
