I am not sure. I think one reason they might want to focus on the visual media of Twitch and YouTube is there is a visual aspect of the game and demonstrating Roll20, with the player video faces, character sheets, map, and chat text. I understand wanting to just listen though. I often listen to the Twitch on a tab in the background myself. You can really follow most of the game and enjoy the RP from the audio alone. I'll forward your question to the Roll20 AW team and someone will respond back if this is possible/forthcoming.
