Players I didn't add appear in group.

So I was talking to this guy through PM who wanted to join my campaign. I had not added him at this point, but I said I would once I saw his character sheet. He mentions his girl friend would like to play.I said that was ok. She introduced herself to me later.  I did not add them or invite them into my game, yet they have been added as players. Is this a known bug? Should I be worried

Did you post the Join link anywhere?  Did you list the campaign on the LFG listings? Please send me a PM with the join link and the name of the player(s).  - Gauss
