This is still a nugget of an idea but I just wanted to go ahead and see if there are any GMs out there willing to work with us. When I say new I mean, very new, hardly even played. Recently went on a beach trip with friends and one had brought the starter edition of D&D 5E. We had fun up until one of our friends got confused by the guidebook and it all just kind of fell apart from there. Before that even happened we had spent hours googling how to make our own characters in the first place (I'm not entirely sure we did it right either.) With what we did accomplish though we had a blast. It was really fun and I wanted to actually try it again but with someone that would be interested in what would basically be teaching us everything from the ground up. That being said, if you're looking for a super serious game, you probably won't find one here. Two of us are 19 and the other one is 21 so we like to laugh and have fun. For instance in our game before it got derailed, instead of knocking on the door to a bandits hideout, I set the door on fire and then we had no way of getting inside. Silly stuff like that. So anyway, if you would be interested in introducing brand new players to the game, let me know! Times are pretty flexible, although weekend nights are probably gonna be our best bet. Also not entirely set on 5E if you would rather do 3.5 or something else. I can't speak for my friends but I'm really excited to learn the game! If you need to know anything else feel free to ask too. Thanks for taking your time to read this.
