Dedicated Player With Flexible Schedule

Interested in D&D 5e Name: Scott Christopher Experience: A Month Playstyle: I'm deeply invested in the game world, I try to do accents for my characters when possible (some are harder than others), I'm pretty good at role-playing and giving my character an iconic personality. I'm dedicated to making it a pleasant experience for all my other party members, so I make sure to be dedicated in creating a legitimate and original character w/ a deep backstory and interesting personality traits that will make him a memorable character. Availability: Every Day, In between the times of 10am-5pm & 9:30pm - 4 am EASTERN TIME. I usually have work nights between 5-9, but my shifts are very consistent. I'm very punctual and respectful of other people's time. I'm always trying to at least be early. I've dealt with campaigns where people have been late and disrespectful of other people's punctuality and I do not intend on acting like that at all. If in the rare case I can't show up, I will give you notice days or weeks in advance. What do you want in a campaign? consistency, fun, originality, I'm hoping to find a dm who is as passionate as me to provide a great gaming environment. A DM that caters to each character and makes their experiences special for how they would react in a particular scene or moment. What don’t you want? lack of punctuality and passion. Simple minded story plots and encounters. Character(s) I don't have one at the moment, however if you liked my application let me know and I'll have a character whipped up in a timely fashion so it will be convenient for you. Here is also my typical application if you were interested in reading more Hey I'm Scott. I just recently started DnD, I got a pretty decent idea of what I'm doing. I'd say I'm very active in the group. I've been playing for almost a month or so. I'm hoping that we can build some chemistry with the group so that we can share some laughs and some great teamwork to take advantage of our class abilities. I'm willing to put extra effort into my rping and creation of my character sheet so that I can be a very interesting and original character. My character sheet is always very descriptive of my character and has a lengthy backstory with plenty of side characters if you were interested in having side characters appear in the story. I'd love to have a consistent compaign to have a good group of peeps that I can get a accurate idea of their character types and how they play so we can take on missions successfully and with a lot of fun. my greatest hope is that as a GM you can take advantage of a consistent group and get used to our characters so you can reward us for certain things and prepare for how our personalities might handle a certain problem. And grant us good opportunities for our race and class to be of special use. Cheers to some awesome gameplay!
Hi Scott!
Hi Eric haha.
Eric and Scott, why does that sound like a sticom? I want to make like... a joke out of that. That's about all I have to say. xD I was reading your thing and you sounded like you'd be really cool to play this. I could be that DM and more. But you're looking for 5e. I don't play 5e. It's not bad, it's really good. I just prefer 3.5 That being said, I wish you luck. Also, I just roped myself into running an impromptu 3.5 game in like, 20 minutes. Soooo... I've gotta go prepare for that. Me and my big mouth. Good luck, Scott.

Speedy response. There is. 3.5 is a little more complicated. Alot of people will tell you conflicting reports about it. Everyone's pretty biased toward their edition. (Me included.) But I will say 5e is a fantastic starting point. It's good introduction to D&D and if that's the level of play you want, it's perfect. 3.5 has a little more rules and lots of tiny modifiers and things where as 5e removed all that to make things faster and added the Advantage-Disadvantage system. It's a nice system. But I prefer stacking numbers on numbers personally obsessing over my character sheet like a child. xD 3.5 has a lot more content, simply because it's older and a lot of home-brew that's fun as well. I'm sure 5e will have a lot in time as well. It's really fun. I've taught tons of people how to play it. It's a little tricky at first, but things make sense after a bit. I'd be willing to show you the ropes. In fact, I dunno what time it is for you, but like I said. I'm running a small game right now. If you'd like to drop in, you're welcome to try it out. No pressure, casual game. I DO use Skype for communication. So it would be awesome if you have a mic, if not, for the one shot that could work fine. I dunno. PM if you're interested maybe. ...or I guess just post here again. :D
I'm always speedy :). Sounds great man. My Skype is scottchristopher317
