Experienced DMs: 5e- Expedition to Castle Ravenloft

What It Is Roll20 Crew, Years ago I began running the Expedition to Castle Ravenloft module released for 3.5, right before the rapid takeover of Pathfinder. Due to player involvement, I never got to finish the campaign. It crapped out right before the PCs' first venture into the actual castle. I've been left wanting to say the least. Read about it here: <a href="https://castleravenloft.obsidianportal.com/" rel="nofollow">https://castleravenloft.obsidianportal.com/</a> That said, I'd like to form a group of experienced DMs that would be willing to rotate sessions and make our way through this D&D classic. It could be very rewarding. WotC has open sourced... The Rundown: <a href="http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20" rel="nofollow">http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20</a>... The Maps: <a href="http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ag/20" rel="nofollow">http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ag/20</a>... The Art (NPCs): <a href="http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ag/20" rel="nofollow">http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ag/20</a>... I would love to get 4-6 player/DMs to go through the module til the bitter end. However, to be able to actually execute there would be some pretty stringent prerequisites. These player/DMs must: Have access to the module and be at least somewhat familiar with its contents (or at least the section you are running). Be experienced enough to be able to make a 3.5 to 5e conversion when said DM is up to run the game. (As well as have the session/maps ready to go). Be able to show up and execute when games times are set. The good news is, the players/DMs in this game will need no babysitting. There will not be any , "How do I make a character?" "What does this spell do?" or "How does Roll20 work?" I am not trying to be anti-noob, but to make this work I would like to get some experienced, well-read players/DMs. I will not apologize for being a gaming elitist. After all, that is what Roll20 is for. You can find noobs galore at your local gaming store. I need the people that are few and far between, capable of taking the game by the reins and executing reliably. I know people like this are lurking around here, because this kind of thing is our bread and butter. If you fit this description, PM me. With the right mix of players/DMs this game can flow easily from session to session and we can actually take out the infamous Strahd Von Zarovich . Thanks, -Dustin
Do you have a date & time in mind?
If I can find a group of 4-6 people that meet these criteria then I'll bend over backwards to accommodate them. Since we are all going to be DMing, I don't want to put a date/time down. We should all have equal input in that regard.

I've run Expedition to Castle Ravenloft about a dozen times, and think it would work well with Roll20. I would join you, but I'm terribly busy with work. Maybe closer to October I'll be able to set aside some time.
Definetly intetested as I am in the process of a full conversion of it on my own. It would ultimately depend on scheduling more than anything fot me.
Bumping this cause we have 4 player/ gms and would like to get at least 2 more people who are interested in something like this.
It sounds like an interesting project. 5E is by far my weakest system, and I don't necessarily know if I'd be crazy about rotating DMs every session. But I wouldn't mind playing in a game for once, and doing so with people who are actually fellow experienced DMs who know what they're doing.

We have broken the campaign down to chapters that the DM's will be responsible for individually. 5E is a very user friendly version both player and DM wise. You would have no trouble picking it up and running it.
