Hey there I am looking for a group / Game which teaches new people How to play DnD I know some of the basics and I want to play yet I cannot find anything good. I am available all week from 9AM to 9PM GMT If more information needed Please tell me which and not anything vauge.
nothing? No response? I find it bad for a promising looking website.. I cant find anywhere else to play D&D... shame seems like I will never play.. Thank you anyway for even looking at this page...
might help to specify which of the seven different versions you are interested in.
No, i think it's better if you don't have a specific one in mind.
Hi Flash R. you might consider reading our Posting to LFG: Read First - where we suggest that you include the System you are looking to play. It would be helpful to GM's looking for players to have more information. You can also list yourself on our Player Directory for a better chance finding a group. See the Player Directory wiki to learn how.
I do not know ANYTHING about the "7 different versions" of D&D I am 100% new. I only know names. but How can I understand by name that its ok for me... I know I am lacking information in my post but people no matter how hardcore you are need to understand some people dont know anything but still want to try to play. people really dont understand that which is sad.
You might try checking out the dungeons and dragons sub reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/dnd to learn more about the different editions!
Imagine walking into a grocery store and asking I need breakfast cereal. They say what kind? and you say, I don't know and they point you to the isle. So how does one choose a brand? Trying it to see if they like the taste. There are 7 different versions and they are all different. other than D&D there are hundreds of other game systems, some of which emulate older versions. I suggest watching some you tube videos about D&D gameplay, or similar. "I am looking for a group / Game which teaches new people How to play DnD" You're in the right place, but D&D is not just one thing to teach. Within each rule set, there are different playing style. It's also a lot like asking "Please someone direct me to find a TV show I will likem can you?" ...and there 300 channels on cable TV.
The simplest version right now is probably 5th Edition. The most supported version is probably Pathfinder, which itself isn't .. you kjow what? go here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_%26_Dragons And here: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page Good luck.
