Two items of note for Saturday's game: 1. For reaching the halfway point of the ritual to free Vetra-Kali, you may take an incremental advance. 2. This came up in discussion after the last game: I've been thinking about how we handle heal-ups. As you may know, the standard 13A rule is that you receive a full heal-up (all abilities, HP, and recoveries recharged) after four encounters, regardless of how much time passes between those encounters. You can take a heal-up before four encounters are completed, but you suffer a campaign loss in exchange (e.g. losing time, NPCs deserting, enemies gaining reinforcements, or such). I've generally been handwaving this, and it does seem a little silly to say you aren't recovering when there are weeks passing between each encounter. However, I've also noticed that it's getting more difficult for me to prepare challenging fights when people can just blow all their dailies at the start of each one. I haven't yet come to a conclusion on this, and it's possible the matter may fix itself when we're no longer on such an extended time scale. I just want you to be aware of my thoughts and that I may be moving to change things if I think it's making it overly hard for me to create good fights.
