Just an FYI on aweb browser problem.

After swapping around from campaign to campaign on my Linux box a few days ago; my games stopped loading and then finally Firefox crashed. Any time I try to go to Roll20.net it crashes. It will go to other websites just fine. Since I need the machine up for the moment I swapped over to Chrome, which worked just fine. I expect after I reboot the machine on the next cycle that Firefox will work again with Roll20. Just struck me as odd. Thus the FYI.
I tried updating and rebooting my everything, I still get the same problem. I may just switch to Chrome at this rate.
I run a lot of networking sh... stuff on that box, and it is a pain to bring it down and back up. But I may do it tonight and see what happens. If I get it cleared up or not I will let you know. Mine was at the latest, the OS is Ubuntu.

Chrome still works while Firefox will not run Roll20 on my Ubuntu box. Running Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS with Firefox Firefox 39.0.... Don't have time to play with it at the moment, and Chrome is giving me what I need. But wanted to report it. If I find a fix I'll let you know Maddwaffles.
Hi everyone, I actually use Ubuntu as my OS of choice. I have had Firefox freeze up but only temporarily. It just immediately crashes when you load Roll20 now? That's not good. Just to start, can you walk through our standard troubleshooting steps? Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including providing all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you.
Well, it's too hot to work in the yard so.... Machine restarted, Running Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS with Firefox Firefox 39.0. and no Add-ons, plus the cache has been cleared. Let's open the console and go to Roll20. Console is griping that the site is using SHA-1 and recommends something stronger. I hit "Join Game" and it goes to loading the game, and then blanks out of existence to be replaced by Mozilla Crash Reporter. Restart Firefox and it goes back to the Join Game, and hangs for a while on "Read d3clqjduf2gvxg.cloudfront.net. (I am typing this on a Windows machine by the way while I watch the Ubuntu.) Got the console to open: "Final page load" "Scan for new plays!" "Window Resize" "Final set zoom!" "UPDATE GL SIZE!" "Final set zoom!" app.js.30.12320 (sitting on this step now for five minutes.) And it crashed after 7 minutes, 14 seconds. Back to the Mozilla Crash Reporter.
Can you try this and see if it works? Go here: (It should load the last game you joined): https://app.roll20.net/editor/?disablewebgl=true Let me know if that works any better. Thanks for helping us track this down!

Thanks for helping us track this down! Correction: the Firefox browser has been hanging on "Loading.... hatching dragons..." for the past hour. I go to open the console, and it sent me to the Mozilla Crash Reporter. My apologies once more for the mixup.
So for some reason your browser is crashing when it's trying to start up the WebGL instance. I'm not really sure why it would be doing that, but that's what it is. What happens if you go here? https://get.webgl.org/
"Your browser supports WebGL" I see a spinning cube.

The window with the disablewebgl=true is still hanging. But Firefox tells me too that my browser supports WebGL. My apologies about the mixup and false information on the "it worked message."
"Hmm. While your browser seems to support WebGL, it is disabled or unavailable. If possible, please ensure that you are running the latest drivers for your video card." Is the message I am receiving.
@Maddwaffles , you can try following the instructions here to enable WebGL. If you have an Nvidia go here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us . If you have AMD go here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
