(LFP) Pathfinder: Curse of the Crimson Throne EST

Looking for a couple of players for my upcoming Curse of the Crimson Throne game. We'll be playing weekly, but the actual time hasn't been decided yet. I'd prefer to have players that have a general understanding of the rules, so if you don't know how to play then please don't bother inquiring. Post a short description of a character you'd like to play and your level of rules knowledge. As far as actual character creation, we'll be using the 15 PB system with strict adherence to Paizo only classes, races and rules. No 3rd party content will be accepted. If you have any in-depth questions, feel free to send me a private message. Thanks.

Adara Greyhill, NG Human Rogue/Bard Adara was born to an upper middle class family in a moderately sized city that could support a Sage's Council and Library, said council employing both her parents. With access to expanded schooling, Adara is well educated and well spoken. Her older brothers ensured she learned how to fight down and dirty, and Adara found she liked the physical activity and the dichotomy between her appearance and the viciousness with which she fought. Adara's quiet and prefers not to stick out in a crowd, but does possess a bit of a temper, especially when it comes to bullies. Hook: Not familiar with this AP and how it starts the heroes off, but Ye Standard 'Adventure the World, See New Things' is always a winner. Will do best to provide useful hooks if selected. Not a lone wolf anti-social type here! I have been playing Pathfinder for about 5 years now, and I am very familiar with the rules. When I play Pathfinder, I have about multiple tabs open to http://www.d20pfsrd.com/ so rules can be looked up quickly. I have a good headset for voice games and I'm comfortable with text-only games. My availability is 9pm or later Eastern times on Mondays. Skype details will be provided on request for a GM interview.
Thanks for the post, GenKitty. This AP starts off in the city of Korvosa, and the PC's are linked together via a campaign trait that's picked out of the CotCT Player's Guide. Essentially, all the characters have an enemy in common and that's where the adventure kicks things off. As for playtime, I'm already participating in a Monday evening game, so it's most likely that we'll be playing this game on a different evening.

I would be interested. 5+ years as player/gm for pathfinder. My idea for a pc is a Paladin of Erastil ( not the a#@ hole righteous kind) whose mentor was brutally murdered for her outspoken attacks against evil elements plauging the city. He was secretly in love with her and never had a chance to tell her now he lives to take revenge for the loss of her life. Mechanically speaking he would grow to be a master with the longbow. (Not a divine hunter) I am in cst and a weeknight game would have to start at or after 7

I am certainly interested in this, largely depends on the day. Orrik Quietaxe, LG Dwarf Rogue Orrik as a frequenter of Korvosa primarily learning the alchemist's trade (of alchemical items) through his mentor Duldren, after years of apprenticeship he had sent Orrik on his way telling him that he had learned all that he had to teach him about alchemy. He always liked seeing the chemicals react in certain ways and was eager to start selling his creations. Orrick is on average a bit taller than the average dwarf with quite a bit muscle and girth. He prefers to keep the beard shorter than average (never getting rid of it entirely as that would be too crazy to fathom). He came to see Duldren as a father figure, after he had picked him from the streets. I can do Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday(potentially), and Sunday evenings. I've played PF for a couple years, so I got a good idea of the general rules.

Shakgul, CG Human Shaman Shakgul is an outcast Shadde-Quah who has been wandering the coasts looking for work. His Return was traumatic, lost beneath the waves for over a month before washing up on the shores with only vague images of what had happened to him. His tribe couldn't accept him without knowing that he had passed the rite and so he was outcast. He drifted into Korvosa after months of amicable freeloading, drifting, and odd jobs with a vague notion of finding his similarly cast out cousin. His laissez-faire approach to who hired him and lack of questioning nature led him to become an enforcer for a rumormonger, goaded on by a passion for shiver and the vivid dreams that he embraced as a way to remember what happened to him beneath the waves. It became too much however and, after framing an innocent debtor for a murder the monger had committed, he fled to the vaults and hid away while plotting revenge and letting his body painfully recover from the drugs. I'm available Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Thursday is a possibility if the game doesn't run late. I'm also EDT and have been playing Pathfinder since 2009ish.
Eyecon: Sorry, I should have been more specific about a few things. I usually prefer not to have any psionic classes in the game, sorry that wasn't stated. Monday nights will be a no go, as I'm already committed that night. I'm not sure about Tuesdays, but Fridays are something I'm checking into. If you have a different character concept then please let me know. Luke: My main concern is finding a comprehensible place for a disciple of Erastil in Korvosa. As it is the largest city in Varisia, Korvosa's main deity is Abadar, and he's basically the opposite of Erastil. Rural areas or forested regions make a great deal more sense for Erastil. Please let me know your thoughts. Towowo: I like the concept, but I'm confused by a few things. LG for a rogue is something I've never really seen. Am I to assume that rogue is simply a class in this case and not indicative of the character's behavior? Furthermore, it sounds like Orrik could be an alchemist, though I'm not sure if that class interests you. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Orrim Ovdalite - Aasimar Summoner (Synthesist) Orrim appears at first to be a caricaturist's mockery of an orc. He stands with an orc's stature and dull green skin, but where one might expect rippling muscles falls a thick layer of fat. The tusks that would be rough and chipped on so many others instead gleam like gold, and he exudes a sense of jovial mirth. Orrim takes great pride in his celestial lineage as well as the orcs he descended from, if not the race as a whole. As a traveler and adventurer, Orrim sheathes himself within the power of his eidolon both to sate his desire to see justice done as well as his orcish desire for strength. He makes a steadfast friend who will never fail to believe in the good in people, while being grounded enough to know that sometimes evildoers must be put down before that good can be nurtured to fruition. Gabrien Boldenthorn - NG Half Elf Summoner Gabrien was lucky enough to slimly avoid the loneliness and hardship so often brought upon other half-elves. Abandoned as a healthy baby boy, Gabe was taken in by a pair of gnomes who had decided it might be amusing to raise a child of another race. Amusing it was, and Gabe was able to enjoy a happy childhood, learning to laugh at any situation. (As well as arcane fundamentals, in no short order) Having established his initial abilities as a summoner, Gabe has set out in search of new experiences, new knowledge, as well as perhaps a bit of danger. I play predominantly 5e, but I've taken part in a multi-month pathfinder campaign, and have been looking for a chance to join another. I can't play on thursdays, but my other days are open with varying times.
Sharpe: Only core races, please. I have no problem with the summoner, but the synthesist archetype is a bit much for my tastes. As I said before, I'm not sure which day we'll be playing, but I know Mondays (for now) are out of the question. Sorry to shoot you down, but if you wouldn't mind using a core race and a normal summoner or another class then please let me know.
That's fine. I just really enjoy reaching for less common options that I find interesting. I'll put together a new character.
Sharpe: Thanks for understanding. I enjoy the uncommon as well, but sometimes the balance can get out of hand, so I try to stick with core Paizo things when I'm DMing to ensure everything goes smoothly.
There is only one reason that Cadan Bilge has come to Korvosa and that is revenge! That man will die for what he did to my sister and anyone that gets in my way will end up just like him. No one stands in a Barbarian's way of revenge. I can play any day but Tuesday Iv played for a year so i know the rules

It's just a class in this case, I mostly chose Rogue purely on just being a skillful character. I liked the idea of utilizing mundane alchemical items. Yeah I can see where an LG Rogue doesn't make sense coming from they sound like another word for Thief. Alchemist was something I considered but I didn't take it seemed too overtly magical for my tastes.
May I'm late but.. if you need another person I'm down!
I've updated my post to reflect my new character concept.
Sharpe: I like the new concept. Will it be a basic summoner or are you planning for an archetype? I have an aversion to synthesist summoners, so please refrain from that if you don't mind. Towowo: I understand, and there's no problem there. I was just making sure I understood the concept correctly. Alchemists do operate rather similarly to a caster in some aspects, so I can see why you didn't choose that if you're looking for a more mundane route. Elminster: You're certainly welcome to supply a concept. Brandon: Sorry, I almost missed your post. So Cadan is a barbarian? Is he a human? Can you accept that there may not be much room to pursue your personalized story as we're going to be focusing on an AP? Furthermore, I'm going to be conducting very loose 'interviews' at some point. I'm still working on getting the game together on Roll20 with maps and such, and I'd like to make sure I get the right players to fit in with the pre-established players I already have. I'll just be asking some basic questions about the sort of social content you're acclimated to, the play style you enjoy, and things like that. Thanks for all the interest.
This summoner is unarchetyped. Though I haven't made any decisions yet on this front: Are you allowing the splat base forms for eidolons, or only the original 3?
Sharpe: I'd feel more comfortable with the base forms as those are what I have experience with. To clarify, I'm referring to the aquatic, avian, biped, quadruped, serpentine and tauric forms.

Brandon: Orcs are not allowed as a playable race in this campaign. Only the core Paizo races please.
Thanks. Aquatic, avian, and tauric were the splat forms I was referring to.
Sharpe: No problem. Unless there's some exploit I'm unaware of, all of those forms are balanced, correct? Admittedly, I've not a lot of experience DMing or playing Summoners.
Hey Aaron, Thanks for the reply. I see what you mean after reading the players guide and I am totally flexible on choice of deity/backstory ect. I do want to try out a ranged pally though. I can easily adjust him to fit the campaign better.
I meant Half Orc sorry
I've never played a summoner before. All base forms should be balanced though, as they all begin with the equivalent of 5 total evolution points.
Luke: No problem. Abadar is the city's main Deity, but Sarenrae is a close second with nearly all of the major Golarion deities being represented in some capacity. Let me know what you decide. Brandon: Half-Orcs are perfectly acceptable.
Sharpe: I'd assume that's right. Go nuts, friend. Let me know what you come up with.

Aaron: You said Paizo classes were fine, so I assumed Psychic was okay. You should maybe edit the OP to say that Occult Adventures isn't available (and any other Paizo sources you're disallowing). Once you've said which Paizo sources are and aren't available, I'll come back and do another pass at it.
Eyecon: Very rarely do I allow any sort of psionic or psychic (in the case of PF) class to be made available, but it simply slipped my mind during the original post. Other than that, Gunslinger is outlawed, and beyond that, we'll have to take a look at any specific archetypes or classes a character may want to play as I don't have them all memorized.

Hello Aaron. I would love to play, but I’m wondering what times you are looking for. I’m in GMT+2 and I would be able to play on most evenings, but nothing too late. As for days, only Friday is really a no-go for me right now. I have days that are less good than others, but we can talk about that if you are interested in having me. For a character I would to play a human witch. April Skinner - LN Human Witch (Maybe LE if we can make it work with the group/story.) April grow up in the swamps with her witch coven, which both her mother and grandmother was a member of. Her childhood was spent learning the ways of plants and magic. On her 16 th birth she was introduced to the coven’s patron and become a proper member of the coven. She always had a good head on her shoulders and quickly proved her worth, within a few short year she became the coven’s unofficial ambassador, dealing with both nearby peasant villages as well tribes of humanoid monsters. It was on her way back from one of these business trips that her life changed dramatically. Proudly entering the camp with the bounty of her latest business transaction, April found the entire coven slaughtered down to the last person. She swore on the coven’s patron that she would track down whoever was responsible, and visit a terrible fate on them for their crimes. Following clue and preforming investigation April soon learned the identity of killers and tracked them to the city of Korvosa. However April is the patient and calculating type, not one to charge in and get herself killed not matter how much she was revenge. She knows that she will need both allies and influence to bring the killers to justice, and are they really the ones behind the attack or did someone pay them to do it. I hope you like April. As for my experience with Pathfinder. I have GMed a homebrewed campaign for 9 session now, so I have a pretty good grip on the system mechanics. I’m not an expert on Golarion lore however, but I do know the major things that you need to know to play Pathfinder. If you want to get in touch my skype is Wilckey_
Did the time ever get decided?
