Countdown is on, game time later today (the usual time)! Get ready for a  game-developing  day and a great Role-Playing AD&D session -- with some twists and unusual modes of gameplay too! ON TAP TODAY:  New NPC's, new monsters, Returning Player to meet,  new Maps, new Handouts, legends, lore, 1760 visions table, randomization for all, parlays, politics, bargains, loaded dice... and maybe some combat?! Here are today's Pre-Game Notes To The Players: You can take action on these 3 items today if you're able to show up early for pre-game. 1. Look under Handouts under the Journal tab in-game. Every PC has access to new information in Handouts. Each PC has your own map with different views of the swamp-marsh area, a list of monsters and inhabitants, and a chart of underwater capabilities. Read all your Handouts! 2. Listen to the Background Song that's playing in the game table at least once all-the-way through. The Legend of Wooley Swamp song pertains to a possible Side Quest Adventure that's on offer, this week or next week. The party could potentially recover some long-lost special treasure and put some tortured souls to rest. 3. If you did a Journal for the session of August 3, please prepare your Proposed Journal XP line-of-text, and paste it in the Forum or Chat for DM approval before you add to your Character Bio and Save.  Use the format, +??? XP (Character Name for Journal of August 3 session about ___ and ___ with a picture of ___ from ___ !)
I'm sorry for such short notice, but I won't be attending today's session. My burn out is back with a vengeance. I've had about 9 hours of sleep in three days and my mind and body are now giving up. I really wanted to attend but I probably can't stay awake for five minutes after I type this. If I am awake and up for it I might drop in at some point. Especially sorry to you Gold, I know you do so much to provide us with interesting content, and some of it is tailored specifically for Sandoval. I hate to let you down, but I need to prioritize my energy towards real life for the moment.

Hans, it's ok. We carried on without you for the session. You were missed. Some information & rolling-randomization is saved-up for you to do next time you're able to join in, hopefully next week. Check Journal threads to get an idea of what transpired in today's session, "One For Sorrow, Two For Joy".
Hi Guys -- Sorry, I don't think I will be able to play tomorrow or next week. If you guys go on that side-quest then maybe I can just rejoin when it's done.

Gray, got ya. Let us know when you find out if you'll be back to play September 8 (Tuesday proposed game day 3 sessions from now).  Your place here will always be saved, if you want to revisit even later than that. On the agenda this week, like you mentioned, mainly a side quest ("The Legend Of Wooley Swamp"). Next week: parlay the Lizard King. After that: We shall see! Hope to have Kryikh back to the party then, if at all possible. Recognizing your schedule challenges after a wide move across time zones to Pacific... Sorry to find the timing isn't easy for you to make. If there's any way we can shift the game time to work, we will look at it. In any case, I would like to keep playing D&D with you, and DM'ing, even if it's a different campaign & different game day/time. We can spin off and start a side game, possibly using another region of the same Homebrew World, but completely new adventures.
I may be slightly late today, as I need to go pick up new glasses.
