no matter which browser I use (Chrome, Firefox, Palemoon [sister to firefox], explorer, opera) and no matter if it is the current version or an older version, my screen keeps freezing when I first load it up. After about 1-2 minutes, I will SOMETIMES get a message stating that there is an unresponsive script, giving me a few different options. If I click turn off the script (as well as do not ask me again so I don't have to keep doing that) the screen will almost immediately load. Some screens take a little longer than others, but that I am assuming is due to the amount of graphics on it; they do, however load usually after I tell the script to stop. I have at this point deleted and reinstalled every browser mentioned above, both in its newest format and also in the most recent one prior to the new one. I have disabled all addons, etc and turned off all extra toolbars for the web browser(s). I have cleared my cache every single time. I have cleaned my computer, opening up available memory from 4.5 GB to almost 20GB. i took the time to shut down background programs (using task manager) and to change certain ones from auto starting. basically, I have done all the normal troubleshooting and this problem still exists. I am using windows 7, and have never had a problem like this up until this past week.
