Attaching files

Hello, I routinely share information to my players in word documents and would like to share them here. I tried to attach a file in a message through the Link button but received an error. Is this possible to do or does it only support image files?

The link button is for page urls. You can not attach files to messages here. I would recommend you upload them to a cloud site such as google drive or so and provide a link to them that way.
The image tag macro string that lets you display an image within a game's chat bar only accepts image formats. If you want to insert a document into a Handout, it will accept images , I *THINK* plain text, as well as single-page PDF's   (if you insert a multi-page PDF, it will only convert the first page)

This way there is nothing to stop you from creating entire pdf documents using MANY handouts with the pdf image as the picture and the visible text saying just [Page 1] and [Page 3] when on Page 2 to allow players to 'flick' through the pages. These can even be archived or put in folders to keep things neat and tidy. There is likely more advanced linking that can be done to achieve a easier reference system for large documents but as a basic example the above would work fine as long as you named all the handouts Page # ;)
