I just started roll20, but for some reason, I cannot load anything in handouts? Is this happening to anyone else? Am I just using the wrong format?

What are you trying to load that won't work? Currently Handouts are limited to image files only, such as Jpeg, PNG or Gif files, so if you're trying to upload something like a word document, or a PDF it's not going to work.
