What happened to just moving one edge of the map?

Before you guys added this new blue border scaling tool you had another tool that would change one side of an image without changing the other. That tool was the reason I sarted using roll20 then you took it out. It would be great if you put it back in. Please put it back in. Thanks, Ben
Can you explain what you mean? I'm having trouble understanding what you mean.
I believe Benjamin is referring to the fact that Roll20 used to scale items from the upper-left corner (leaving that anchored), instead of scaling from the center as it does now (or did the last time I checked). I would definitely (even desperately ) like to see that return.
While I only recently joined, I too would like see that. Doing things from the center is a little... unusual.
I do miss that, I'm not coordinated enough to enlarge an image using the center as an anchor. I always end up having to move it multiple times to get it right where I want it.
I'll be sure this gets passed on.
Awesome, I hope this gets fixed/implemented.
Please Please Please put this in! I do a lot of image editing and graphics work and almost every program I have ever used scales things from the upper left corner by default. I wish this was true in roll20 as well. A lot of programs offer a way to scale from the center, but its never default. I find it takes me a while to get a map with a built in grid just right to fit the Roll20 token locking grid. Everytime I scale the map up or down each pixel I move the mouse is actually 2 pixels of increase and decrease as the other side of the map is moving up or down as well. The Align to grid functionality gets it mostly there, but I usually need to do a few minute tweaks to the size. Tokens don't bother me as I am rarely scaling more than a square or two, but my maps can be LARGE sometimes. I would love to see this come back (though I never knew this used to be - though that brings me hope it is easy to bring back as an option or some such). Thanks! You guys Rock!

Please anchor from the corner rather than the center. - Gauss
I agree. Scaling from the center is counter-intuitive to the way most people scale windows and images.
Yes, and it makes it also more difficult to control the resizing.
Scaling from the centre = extreme suckage [with all the best will in the word]
