Messages notification - Dismiss problem

This is a low priority. When looking at notification of new messages, when I click to dismiss a message, it now shrinks the list down to only one. STEPS: Open to roll20.net, and have notifications about new messages (I have 14 message notifications currently) Click on the red envelop. allow the layer to open previewing the as yet unread messages. Click Dismiss on any of them. RESULT. The preview layer shrinks to only showing the top/oldest message message. As such no other messages can be dismissed. (if the oldest is dismissed the list shrinks to nothing) INTERIM SOLUTION. Read every message, or reload and clear cache each time. This has been happening for about 1 week now

Ok, that's a weird one :) You've mentioned clearing cache, which is step 3 of our Troubleshooting Guide. Can you please follow Steps 1-2 of our Solving Technical Issues checklist (confirm you're using the latest non-test version of Firefox or Chrome; turn off all extensions, addons, and anti-virus) to see if one of those components is causing the problem? We can only help if we can recreate your issue, so it is important that you follow each step. If doing that fixes the issue, just let us know. Otherwise, move on to Step 4 , and we'll need all that information to further assist you.

The strikethrough were attempts to reference formally dismissed links that apparently reappeared when I hit the back button to reload the notification list. I clicked on another message, to dismiss and since I've dismissed the oldest one (which was prior to a week ago (if it matters it was the about the 5e Importer) that's gone now, and only a blank remains.
So just to verify I understand this correctly, once you dismiss all the notifications in the drop-down box, it just sits there with a blank box even though there are more messages to view and it won't populate those in until you refresh/reload the page.

And just to verify, you turned off all your addons, extensions, and antivirus and the problem still persisted?

EDIT : what happens specifically - is that upon clicking to dismiss a message, there is a pause a sort of visual stutter/flicker, then the layer closes, and upon subsequent clicking of the notification icon, only a single line of an empty white box is shown, no clicking in that area generates any results (from my limited testing). GenKitty said: And just to verify, you turned off all your addons, extensions, and antivirus and the problem still persisted? Yes. That has been done and the behavior remained. In the screenshot you'll see that only a few (GoogleVoice and Antivirus) are active. ( I also reinstalled Java, but have not done an update to the most current Chrome) * Side note: Posting "stutters" (in which a single response post gets issued to the thread multiple times) - I found that The Great Suspender extension was strongly correlated to such behavior during troubleshooting this problem.
Please note that while the behavior is annoying. I receive far more value from the product than this behavior hinders. I bring it up only so that if its a new kink you'll have tracking for such, and if other experience it you can quantify its value in your development efforts. Its of no great importance comparated to the enhancements you are working to roll out.
I was able to replicate this since I followed several posts last night to fill up my inbox. I'll get this marked down as a bug. Sorry for the inconvenience in the mean time.
Well, I reinstalled Chrome, uninstalled/reinstalled Java, updated Windows with a few drivers - and it's not occurring for me today.
Interesting. I'll keep an eye on it and go ahead and clear my own cache and check updates.
