[Formula check - SR3]

Hello all, I have experimented a while with some macro abilities .. but got stuck somehow. Heres my challenge: I want to describe a roll for a weapon including modifiers.. so far so simple. The actual code looks like: /r 5D6 > [[?{base_value} - ?{Smartlink2 ?| No, [[0]] |Yes,[[(2)]] } + ?{mind_damage|0|1|2|3} + ?{body_damage|0|1|2|3} ]] /r ?{Combatpool}d6 > [[?{base_value} - ?{Smartlink2 ?| No, [[0]] |Yes,[[(2)]] } + ?{mind_damage|0|1|2|3} + ?{body_damage|0|1|2|3} ]] My goal is to compare the rolled dice with the combined modifiers ( base_value - smartlink + mind_damage + body_damage +/- any side modifiers if possible...) though the formula does its math for the [[..]] part.. it doesn't compares it .. what am I missing ? Thanks in advance ( and sorry if it got already asked.. ;) )

Try removing the spaces on either side of the > symbol. You could also add !! ( compounding/exploding on 6's) immediately after the [[inline roll]] for the Rule of Six.

Thanks Silvyre, indeed it had been the spaces.. what a .... funny system. :D I have also added in the !! at the end, admit I have read abt those in the dice refence or macro wiki.. but .. wanted to have the inline stuff working first. So right now my code looks like this: /em shoots his main pistol /r 5D6>[[?{base_value} - ?{Smartlink2?| No, [[0]] |Yes,[[2]] } + ?{mind_damage|0|1|2|3} + ?{body_damage|0|1|2|3} ]]!! additional combat pool dice /r ?{combatpool|0|1|2|3|4|5}d6>[[?{base_value} - ?{Smartlink2?| No, [[0]] |Yes,[[2]] } + ?{mind_damage|0|1|2|3} + ?{body_damage|0|1|2|3} ]]!! Important notes: ?{combatpool|0|1|2|3|4|5} -- this part must be adjusted to the amount of dice you can use in that ability. -- I got pistols at 5 .. so max. are 5 additional dice .. add/substract |* to fit your needs :) + ?{mind_damage|0|1|2|3} + ?{body_damage|0|1|2|3}  -- if you change the + to -  you can use this line for the Initiative macro so you add in any wound modifier if occuring Again, thanks ! Regards, Connarius
Nice. :)
