If this is a map you created in a 3rd party program (gimp, photoshop, etc...) and uploaded it, you have it already in your art asset library which allows you to drag and drop into any campaign you are the creator of or the co-gm of.

I build all my maps in roll20 itself. I like doing it that way so I never have grid problems but thanks for the hint.
