Effects not working in Firefox but works fine in Chrome

Not a bug I think but a technical issue. I just recently upgraded to Pro and was playing with one of the toys on the toolbox (the lightning bolt). As the subject line says, I couldn't get anything to happen in Firefox even with disabling all extensions and add-ons and restarting the browser. Not a big deal for me as I can use Chrome now that we use Skype and I don't have the lag issues I once had. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue?

Could you provide a console log of your Firefox usage with this issue happening? Wiki page quoted Use the keyboard shortcut: Control-Shift-K (Command-Option-K on the Mac) If that doesn't work, follow these instructions: <a href="https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Web_Console" rel="nofollow">https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Web_Console</a>

Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. Let us know if that doesn't solve your issue and we'll dig in deeper.

In the Add-ons Manager I have this if it is significant;

Doug, sorry I missed your response. Your console log shows a failure in the JavaScript which is probably happening because of a 3rd party process on your local computer. Either an add on or extension or piece of malware.
Hi Steve, The picture I posted of the screen capture didn't stick but it was indicating java platform was disabled along with java deployment toolkit. These are in the add-on manager tab. I have since updated Firefox and Java and now only the Java deployment toolkit has a warning it is vulnerable and is set to Ask to Activate. Hope this makes sense... I do have my antivirus running and scanning regularly. It isn't an option for me to be out in Internet land without it. Anyway, it still isn't working for the effects function but I had an issue with the API script not spinning up (only once) but that works now after the updates. Everything I need for the system is working, the effects being fluff and is not a big issue for me. Chrome is working fine in all respects. I just have minor lag issues because I use 5E shaped sheet.

Ok, Doug. Since the issue is probably local to your FF install and not an issue with Roll20 and you can access the functionality with Chrome I'm going to close this thread. Let us know if the issue is different or bigger than you thought.
