Inter-session bookkeeping notes

First:  A group of friends wants to do the painting thing on the 26th.  I'm not willing to miss three games in a row or that close in time (even if we are also playing on the 18th/19th), so I need to know if we will be playing on the 26th or not so that I can tell them we need to pick another date if we are.  It's something that you need to register for ahead of time. Second:  I'd imagine there's a lot about GM-ing that can apply regardless of the specific game.  Of course, I could be wrong about that.  That said, the reddit posted by Eric led me to a lot of resources, which will certainly be helpful. I suppose I thought it might be nice to ask questions of people I already know, but then I realize I tend to ask questions about other things with complete strangers, so why should this be different? Third: Devon!  Ugh.  Bed bugs, car trouble, AND family medical issues?  That's a lot to handle all at once.  Great to see you again though!
Thanks, and sorry again that I didn't say anything about it before, but I'll be able to get back on a regular schedule now.
At this point, the 19th is out for me (house guests) so it looks like it's going to have to be the 12th and 26th.
Okay, I'll let them know.  Thanks!
Something has come up so I won't be able to make it tonight.  Sorry for the short notice.
I'm sorry.  I think I need to bow out.  The new school is a lot more stressful than I expected, and I think that's one of the reasons I wasn't feeling great on Saturday. Having missed the other nights due to school scheduling issues didn't help either, as I feel like I am somewhat disconnected from the story -- no one's fault, but mine.  Anyway, I feel bad about people relying on me and then me not being able to hold up my end of the bargain for one reason or another.  I know it's close on the heels of Riss/Ryan leaving, but I just think I'm not doing anyone any favors trying to be present when I'm not fully present or when there are scheduling issues.  I've really enjoyed the game, and I wish that I didn't have these issues that keep coming up, but I'm also tired of feeling guilty about not being able to be more present.  Keep fighting the good, er, evil, fight!
I'm sorry to hear that. We've enjoyed having you, but if you're having trouble making the game, that's understandable. Let me know in the future if your schedule becomes more manageable, and good luck.
Thank you.  I'll let you know if things change!
Just a quick note to point out that if it's okay with everyone, we'll play this Saturday, the 10th. I will not be available on the 17th.
I have a birthday party to be at this afternoon / evening. I should be back in time for the game, though.
Alex has a pretty awful stomach flu. He hopes the birthday party was fun and he is sorry for not being able to make it today. :(
Sorry about missing last session. I was out of town and didn't receive a notification. I'm probably going to have to bow out of this game, due to the demands of my research. Sorry for not informing you earlier, and I hope it all turns out well.
Sorry to hear that. Thanks for playing with us!
I'm up to play this Saturday, the 12th, if you folks are. If not, the 19th should be fine too.
Would we be able to get another game in on the 19th? If not, we'll probably have to put the next game off till after the holidays.
I can. I didn't even realize that there was a game last Saturday.
As I said earlier, I'll be on the road this weekend. I might be able to attend but I'd be depending on hotel wifi.
I'll be clocking out at work tomorrow at 8, so I might be a tad late.
This is just an advance notice: my area is forecast to get hit by heavy snow and high winds this weekend. Hopefully there will be no issues with Saturday evening's game, but of course there's always a chance I may lose power or Internet service. So if I don't show up Saturday, you'll know why.
fair enough.
Stay safe Chris
I'm attending my father-in-law's birthday in the early evening. I'll be an hour late at most, and possibly even on time!
I'll be clocking out at 9, or at least I should be. So if I don't get on by 9:30 or 10, than I may still be at work.
Understood. Hope everything works out.
On my way in 15!
I will not be available in two weeks (Feb. 6), so if possible I'd like to have a session this Saturday, the 30th. Let me know if this is okay.
I will be able to play this saturday!
I should be good this weekend!
Same here.
I should be able to attend.
For those who missed last night's game, please note that the next game is scheduled for this Saturday, 2/20. I may not be available for the 27th.
I am sorry for not attending last evening. Somehow I got the dates mixed up and thought we weren't having a session. I am planning to be here this saturday.
Unfortunately, we didn't get a quorum for this night's session and had to call it off.  I will not be available next weekend, so we will try again on March 5.  Devon, are you still with us? I haven't heard anything from you for a while.
Hello everyone. I'm sorry for missing the last couple of sessions. Things have been very busy around here and will likely continue to be that way until next week. I apologize for not getting back to you about this sooner. I am planning to be here on the twelvth.
I am running some errands that are taking longer than planned.  be able to play in 30 minuted.
My brother and sister are on spring break and have come back home from their various universities across the country.  I plan to spend some time with them and won't be present at Saturday's game.
I'm afraid we're off again, then. Sorry for the short notice, I've been dealing with health issues over the last couple of days.
I was able to show up for the session last week, but only Sean showed up. What is the current status of the game?
I apologize for forgetting the game. I've been rather snowed under recently (computer video card dying, car brakes suddenly needing very expensive repairs). Since we've regrettably lost Alex, it's going to be a challenge pushing on, but I'm willing to see if I can gather more recruits and get the game back into gear.
I plan on being here this evening.
Sorry, folks. I was hoping to recruit a new party and relaunch the game this weekend, but so far there just hasn't been enough interest. Rather than drag it out further I think I'm going to have to end it here. Thanks for sticking out so long ... a year-plus is pretty good for an online campaign, especially a text-based one. This game has helped me learn quite a bit and improve my GMing, and I hope you've had fun.
