Hi, there. I've been playing tabletop games for a bit over two years, I
just had one game come to an end and another disintegrated before it
began, and now I find myself with way too much free time over the
weekend. And seeing as Numenera is pretty much my Most Favoritest Game
Evar, and I've got a few more character ideas I'd like to try out, I
thought I'd see if there are any games out there that need somebody. My
time zone is PST, and any time on Saturday is fine, but I can also make
it after about 5 PM on Friday or before 4:30 PM on Sunday. Also, just for the record, while I
can make a dedicated fighter if need be, I do often write up characters
who, when faced with a problem, will try to find a solution that
doesn't necessarily involve combat. (Seriously, my last character
killed one enemy in the entire campaign, and that was her biggest regret for the rest of the game.) And if it helps, here's something I like to do when I'm writing a
backstory: I leave some mysteries in there and let the GM come up with
the answers. Like, my 5e druid joined the adventure to find some thieves
who stole a necklace--I didn't say what the necklace was, or meant, or
did, or if it did anything at all, just that the character wanted it
back. Another time, my character was an orphan, and I let the GM decide
who the parents were without telling me. I think that makes it easier to
hook characters into the Big Overarching Plot. Anyway, thanks in advance...
