Hold Spacebar for Pan tool, Release for last tool

Similar to how Adobe handles the pan tool. You can select the tool, or you can just hold Spacebar to really quickly use it and then return to your last tool without thinking about it. KeyDown: Save current tool to var, set tool to Pan. KeyUp: Copy tool setting from var to current tool selection.

You always have access to the pan tool via the right mouse button. You do not need to switch tools to use the pan tool. :) - Gauss

Nice! I'm digging this, thanks again Gauss :D Is there somewhere under the wiki that describes these two functions? (Right-click pan and the Mouse 3 analogue pan you mentioned to me in another thread) I never saw it, I'll feel silly if it's somewhere obvious ;)
Funny I find myself hitting the space bar and trying to move all the time. it would be nice to have the option.
I don't think the problem is really that specific. It's not just that we need a faster way to access the panning-tool alone. It's that the lack of keyboard shortcuts for all the available tools (in my case, it's the hide-area, reveal-area, and general selection tools) is a rather jarring omission from an environment that otherwise feels natural and intuitive. So much so that we all seem prone to forgetting that we're not actually in our native adobe habitats!

Billy , right clicking and holding while moving will pan for you. Additionally, all the tools you have mentioned have advanced shortcuts.&nbsp; Here is the link:&nbsp; <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Advanced_Shortcuts" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Advanced_Shortcuts</a> Here is the link for the default shortcuts:&nbsp; <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Keyboard_Shortcuts" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Keyboard_Shortcuts</a> - Gauss
