[LFG - 5E or PF] Looking for a campaign with intrigue and skullduggery!

Veteran player looking for a campaign with intrigue, political turmoil and so on. Love combat too, but I like thinky parts in between. Any campaigns like these going on?

I like these games as well, especially if it's sandbox with some empire-building functions :) . Owning a tavern, building a business, etc. etc.
Also, very much a fan of this style of game. I'm too new to Roll20 to set up such a game as of yet (and I don't know 5e), but I would happily jump on the bandwagon if we can get people together to form a new group. But I will happily work with players and DMs on ideas and plots to assist in building some intrigue and political turmoil - and I try to set goals clear and specific enough to make the DM's job easier. I'm also willing to share books or resources as needed for the campaign. Essentially I'm willing to help any way I can, I'm just not skilled enough to run such a campaign directly.
I would definitely be interested as well. In fact, I came up with a fun character recently that'd fit this kind of setup. That being said, I'd also prefer not to GM this. I am not so good at intrigue and skullduggery in my GM style. Also I'd prefer Pathfinder but if not it's no big deal.
Since together this is 4 of us interested in the same style of game, should we explore the possibility of forming a group together?
I'd be: Down, but finding a proper GM might be tough.
I would love a game that was more about intrigue and planning as well.  I did try running a fantasy-noir game once but I'm not sure I'd be the best GM.
If it helps I can provide Adventure Paths for whoever does GM: I was inspired to start playing Pathfinder by Way of the Wicked, and Kingmaker would intrigue me as well. I know both of them involve some measure of politics and planning and intrigue.
This idea sounds awesome, but a Gmail is needed.
I certainly have a Gmail, so it's not an obstacle for me. What would it be needed for? Using googletalk rather than Skype?
You'd need one to send an email to Tailspin 21 saying "Dude, your phone autocorrects 'GM' into 'Gmail'".
Wow.  I hate phones sometimes. Lol.
One settling to think about is Freeport.  It is a pirate haven with an incredibly corrupt government.
How open are people to 13th Age?  The system core system is very similar to Pathfinder/3.X.  While not a gaurntee, I do have a thought that is brewing.
Always open to learning a new system.

I might be able to GM an adventure path, but it would have to be on a weekend and wouldn't be a weekly game.  I'd like to play as well but Kingmaker, Hell's Rebels or Skull and Shackles could be fun.  What would y'all think of Kingmaker?  It has empire building and opportunities for social RP.

I'm open to the idea, although I'm new to it and would need help translating my end-goal into the new system. That would be awesome, and thank you very much for offering, it is much appreciated. I am more than happy to try my hand with Kingmaker, and already have a few character ideas floating around for that (mostly warrior/tank roles, either an aspiring young squire or a reformed bandit), although I can make something else if the group would prefer me to fulfil the caster role (I'll just need a little more time/inspiration to think of a concept that's appropriate). Well, if y'all are willing to stick to Pathfinder I'm willing to GM and we've got two players so far.  I'm setting up a group for the game and will send out invites once everything is in place.  I'm pretty easy going when it comes to character builds, pretty much any Paizo-published source book is allowed as I own all the hard covers and a good number of the soft covers. I've got the group set up and everybody should have received an invite to the group.  We've got 5 players and me as GM which should be a pretty decent setup.  Let me know if accidentally missed you when I sent invites.
Hey Jeff, would be great to get an invite as well.
Sure thing, if you're still interested.
